Keyofx
I've read that on my usual forums as well. Why is there so much 'racial abuse/indecent behavior'? I've also read about female users being turned off because just one female avatar entering the room is enough to get everyone 'worked up'. Can't you set incoming voice to 'friends only' like on XBLA? Yes, you can always put those annoying pricks in your ignore list also report the incident within Home. And not everyone outside your friend's list is a jerk. By setting your incoming voice to friends only, you will miss out on talking to strangers who have similar taste and passion in the kind of games you like etc etc. I have heard lots of ppl talking about games like LBP, KZ2, MGS4 etc... MOF, one lady from canada gave the password to Uncharted artifacts rooms via voice chat only.
CarbonCore
The fun part is to dress up as a girl in mini, and when everyone starts ganging up on you, speak something funny with your best dude's voice Its a virtual world, you don't have to take it so seriously. Keyofx
I see. I asked because I always play with voice turned off. I guess there are more chances of decent conversations when you're not playing and are in a lobby area.
supersim
PlayStation Home to have a white Christmas Do you live in Australia? What about New Mexico? Maybe somewhere further south? Regardless of where you live, there is a slight chance that you've never experienced a white Christmas, something everyone should be able to do at least once in their life. Sony seems to feel the same way with the release of their latest update to PlayStation Home. According to the official Asian PlayStation website, Sony has unveiled its Christmas update for the online social platform, adding snow-filed environments, a Christmas tree in the central plaza and of course, item giveaways that anyone should be excited to receive. This event is only for a limited time, so make sure to come Home for Christmas in order to check it out!

KnackChap
Home's release once again proves that sony london are the most talentless bunch of developers in the industry. Thank god they cancelled 8days and getaway 3, what a huge waste of resource that would have been.

Hot-Drake-Pixel
Ernst & Young, Microsoft to use Home to hold virtual meetings PlayStation Home will be host to a few virtual meetings operated by Ernst & Young to reduce carbon emissions. The hope is that a suitable online world will help eliminating the daily need to commute and meet in real-world offices. The project is being led by Dr. Nipan Maniar and Manish Malik from Portsmouth University and includes other participants, like Microsoft and Merill Lynch. "Audio and video-conferencing solutions have emerged but the use of virtual worlds may offer the next evolution in overcoming the tyranny of distance - a more realistic and learning-enhanced environment," Andrew Mawson, managing director of Advanced Workplace Associates said. As bloggers, we certainly know the benefits of telecommuting. Who knows? Maybe in the future all of us will be able to work from home and log in to the office using our PlayStations. Shantz
^^ The above news looks completly made up by those guys. Reasons: 1. "MICROSOFT" to use PS3 Home? 2. There is not even a single reason why Home is better than the existing audio/video conferencing solutions for meetings.

Somebody
PlayStation Home Content Update Coming This Week Posted by CydoniaX // PlayStation Home Community Manager For those of you who haven’t already met me, I’m CydoniaX, the PlayStation Home Community Manager. I wanted to give you a quick update on new content coming to PlayStation Home this week. First, the Red Bull space is going live! You’ll be able to access it through your World Map by clicking on the Red Bull Air Race map tile. From there you can explore this tropical island and take part in different Red Bull events. This week you’ll be able to get inside the cockpit of a Red Bull Air Race plane and compete against other flyers on the Red Bull Air Race course. This is just the start of what we are working on for Red Bull Island with more to come in the next few months. Ligne Roset and Diesel will now have their own storefronts in the PlayStation Home Mall, so that you will be able to locate these brands more easily. For the SCEA region, if you pre-order “Killzone 2” for PS3 through Amazon you’ll get an exclusive PlayStation Home costume for your Home avatar. With costume pieces for your head, torso, legs, hands and feet, you can customize your Home avatar to look like an ISA Soldier, a Helghast Assault Trooper, or something in between. Codes to access your bonus costumes will be sent to you after Killzone 2 launches on 02/27/09. Check out this link for more details. And last but not least, SCEA is adding Resident Evil: Degeneration themed T-shirts for all fans of the movie we showed a sneak peek of over the holiday break. Please check back here in the next few days to find out when we go live with this update.
