Systematic
Ok well, I just bought a 360 from Chaz and he hadn't used the accessories just the console. When I went to open the packet holding the power adapter I find that the plug is a Hong Kong/Singapore/UK style plug... This is what it looks like: The power brick says 200-240v~2.7A 47-63Hz Here come the questions... Do I: Buy a whole new power supply or just keep the brick and get a different cable or just use a converter? One more thing, if you do suggest something please do not hesitate to tell where the item can be purchased... ~Thanks
Systematic
You should be fine if you use a converter. What does this thing look like, what does it do as in: does it make the 240 into 220 And Where can I get it...?
Anmolsc
Yup...Same thing happened when i had a ntsc console. You Need A StepDown Converter..... You Can Get That In Any Electronic Shops...Cost Less Than 400rrs..Dont Know Exact Amount as Prices Vary...... Get One And Youll Be Fine Peace
Systematic
StepDown Converter Why would I need a STEPDOWN? The brick and the cable both support 200-240, wouldn't the indian 220v fall between this? And wouldn't the only neccessary thing would be a plug which just has a 240v socket on one side and a 220v round pins? :|

You just need a pin converter not a voltage converter. If your power brick is detachable from middle then just get an indian cable( i guess simillar to the one supplies power to PC) hook it to the main brick and you are all set. In this case, PS3's design is well thought of as the power unit is built in and it supports all world voltages. You just need to but the power cable from local market and you are all set.
