praveer
cmon ppl know your games.!!! again . sc123 were released when there was no xbox360/ps3 ( HD console generation gaming) . double agent released after 360/ps3 . and released on 360 at launch . and came a bit improved for ps3 already . THERE is nothing to RE-MASTER in Double agent . its already available as an HD ps3 title. sc123 werent. so this is like you asking why no prince of persia(2008 one) in the prince of persia trilogy HD release recently. the trilogy(warrior within, two thrones, sands of time) released pre 360/ps3 era. so they were remastered into "HD". Actually there is. Few people realize that Double Agent for 6th gen consoles developed by Ubisoft Montreal (ie. developers of Splinter Cell 1 and Chaos Theory) was a completely different AND superior game when compared to the 7th gen version which was developed by Ubisoft Shanghai (developers of Pandora Tomorrow). Oceans 12 Twelve
Actually there is. DIFFERENT? yes i agree to that . separate developers . so different level design and different plot twists . the story folds out based on our game actions so we cant really compare that . but in no way 6th>7th . so there is still nothing to re-master here . you have the 7th gen to play on ps3/360 in HD. a full fledged game like 6th gen . with differences in design . not in game! im pretty sure of that dude. So basically what you are saying is: "Yes 6th gen version has different design and gameplay but it cannot be better cause 7th gen version has the advantage of better graphics and HD." Which is just wrong. Its better cause it has a superior game design and structure. Why do you think people still say Chaos Theory is the best eventhough it has dated visuals ? When you look at that you'll see the reason as per why I believe 6th generation Double Agent was a much better game. One should never consider the visuals while comparing two games from two different generation of machines.

One should never consider the visuals while comparing two games from two different generation of machines. no no no let me be clear! . i did not say that . advcantage because of graphics and HD . nope never! . i just acknowledged they were major differences . and in terms of design structure bla bla . i believed that they were equal . since i never came across any info about what u say . definitely dint give 7th gen upper hand coz of graphics . !! that was when i assumed that otherwise they were equal. now personally ive played only 7th so i dont know the differences in design myself . but im prety sure i have scanned full wiki page ( i do that for most of gameS) . and the review sites etc. blah blah . (im a full nerd) . i never came across what ur saying here . so have u played both ? or uve read this somewhere . do show a source plz . i would like to see it and the people who say Chaos Theory is best . includes me . chaos theory is the forte of splinter cell . so do show some source where i can see how 6th gen is better than 7th gen . i would very much like to know this . and infact also PLAY IT then . here i was thinking im fully familiar with SC . and u practically drop a bomb on me

praveer
since i never came across any info about what u say Well then you've been living under...I donno lol Cause it was all over the news back then. I've played both and I'll say this again...about the only similarity between the two games was that they shared the same base plot and that's where the similarity ends. You can youtube it if you want to check it out, the 6th gen version virtually plays out like Chaos Theory.
CarbonCore
examples please. including personal experiences if played both 6th and 7th , if any. sources ho toh aur bhi badiya What, you want to know current gen sequels that are worse than their previous gen prequels? I think it'd be easier to list the opposite cases since you can basically count them on one hand

SC DA is part of SC. so apart from conviction , they can bundle SC 1,2,3,4 to make the compilation complete . who said to remaster SCDA anyway!!!!
