newuxtreme Posted June 15, 2011 Report Share Posted June 15, 2011 LOL !!!! and thank you ragur for giving me company in the plunder temple match, well these past days all the games we played together were Really fun games guys, enjoyed every bit of my break from my otherwise overbusy schedule. Will be going back to Patiala in the morning, and will probably be back next to next weekend, but at that time you all would be in the middle of your touney, if time pemrits maybe we would be able to catch a few games then otherwise i will be back for a few days right after the UC3 beta is over, hope to see all you guys then. Also i have recorded the files and will be posting the Official theme video for the tourney in the coming few days before the tourney starts, i am keeping this one short and sweet also quality wise as well i am kepping it a low affair as i had very less content to share since noone bothered to send me any of their great gaming moments (except a few of my Old buddies Bub ju freaking Noobs Dilli, new, Taz and new freaking buddy ragur as well) Here's hoping that all you guys will pariticiapte with full strength in the tourney and do make sure to save all the cinema files and send them to me in order to make the rest of the five videos, which I am specially planning to keep as HD videos of very very high quality, so I need your support as well, let's make this tourney a memorable and enjoyable affair for all, A full whole year has gone by since we started playing this game together, statred it back in july 2010 and it has all come around a whole full circle so this is a celebration of that as well, i believe everyone one of us have had so many memorable moments, so many laughs, joyous times that we shared playing alongside each other ( like the one that happened today when i accidentaly prmoted someone to leader when i was actually trying to kick him, i literally had cramps in my stomach after that happened ) and so many many many more. I hope everyone will join in for the tourney games and give it all they have but still remember that in the end win or loose, it's just a friendly tourney and we all are playing in it cos of one common love for this beautiful frigging laggy game and at the same time keeping this in perspective that the real winners and treasures that we can take away from this tourney and these gaming sessions are those friendships, those joyous memorable moments that we acquire and share playing alongside each other ..... TAZ Posted June 15, 2011 Author Report Share Posted June 15, 2011 Rules: -> Teams to play their matches on the respective day and time, If any change needed, You should inform me one day prior to the match. -> All the team members should be there atleast 10 minutes before their match. -> 3 points to be awarded for win -> In case of a Tie 1 point each will be awarded. -> If anyone gets disconnected the match shall continue, But if the person is D.c Before 3 mins in the match, the match shall be restarted -> If all the players are D.c (which is rare) then the previous score will be added in the new score -> I will invite all the players who have to play the match, No one else should create a party so as avoid time waste and confusion. -> Situation Awareness Is not allowed. -> Also the team whose players first gets the advantage of choosing either heroes or villians. -> There will be no replacement provided in any case, Cos its the teams responsibility to call all its player on time and remember them about the match. Sa1nT_SoLd1eR Posted June 15, 2011 Report Share Posted June 15, 2011 Well I was looking as to reasons WhyTheHell is there so much lag in the games and I found out this which i feel is quite right to a certain extent and i thought to share with all you freaking noob's so that we can all Read and Admire the POWER OF LAG and understand why is this issue being faced by us on such a regular basis and what is the reason behind it. So here it is guys "THE POWER OF LAG" Lag in U2AT was caused by the following issues (P2P Games): If you ARE NOT the Host, lag occurs when: Your connection has trouble either downloading info on the other players from the Host or uploading your current position to the Host. You get killed when the Host registers you are shot, so if the upload of your position is slow, the Host will think you were in your previous position. The worse your connection to the Host, the worse the lag. If you ARE the Host, lag occurs when: The connection to other individual players is bad. Basically their upload to you is too slow. Ideally, if you ARE NOT the Host, you will want better Download, and worse Upload. If you ARE the host, you want better Upload, and worse Download. You can tell if you are the Host when you are listed first on your team in the screen before the match starts. If you are at the top, you are the Host. I am not sure what can be improved for U3 other than setting up matches using dedicated servers, and forcing people to connect to local servers. Also I use my gaming headphones for all incoming sound, only keep the mic on my table for outgoing. My headphones were free, but otherwise awesome surround sound philips headphones come for like 500, that too 5 f**ckin years ago. I'm sure you could've gotten a setup like mine for less than 1k. Also you said you wanted an all-in-1 both ears covered headset.. which I completely understood, for gaming purposes, and then you buy that thing! Waaaoowww man waaaaooooowwwWW TAz..
