As sam pointed out, most of us r working n hv other commitments as well to adhere to. If matches crosses 12 mark by few minutes, then it shouldn't b an issue. And abt team A n team D match last nite, why we wanted to play all 5 was coz we had all 5 players available and i dont c any point dropping a player for opponents not showing up, dat wd certainly discourage the dropped player, which we wanted to avoid. If we not had full 5 players available, then we wd hv played with lessers players as well. I feel sorry for rash n his team for being on d firing end, but rash dont lose d spirit as u mentioned earlier. this tourney is just for fun and we shouldnt make it look ugly by arguing on loopholes in rules n pointing at others. And we can only follow the previous schedule of one match per weekend day. This was clearly mentioned while accepting the change is rules, which was only for the sake of matches between other teams. If u say why didnt we play 4v5, then thats coz sa went for his personal commitment only when he knew there was no match on saturday, which was agreed with u earlier. Makes sense ? Whether you were aware of it or not I had asked him to fix a match on Saturday several times before he left. And I was never given an offer to drop out, ezio just said I was the only equal, and that too after making clear he did not have the authority to fix a match. But will still stand by that the mtch between A & C to fixed for a draw off the record..is unacceptable and unfair. Coming to match 2 ie between B & C, I was compelled to negate that as well..coz our dear friend Noctis (N) fumed over the first negation..and pointed that the seocnd match too flouted the rule technically. I didn't opt for negation for the second match...but N wanted me to excersise the rules i put forth..so obliged to the T ! Team C, kudos to them..especially rash for even accepting the decisions..but N wudn't juz stop escalating the matter further and futher....can't blame him.. again....histronics of him in previous kz2 tourney is there as well to justify it.. Long Story....Short... here is the gist...of the sequences..for those who missed any scene of the film in particular.... Act I: Week 1 Passes with all matches winding on scheduled dates, but post them I get requests to not restrict the matches to weekends..as many have plans on weekends..and will be likely to be present. ACT II: I oblige to the above requests..So give the liberty of Week 2/ Week 3 matches to be played even during Mon-Thu, but also stating..that if it doesn't wind up by Thu. Matches have to be played as per origy schedule.. All members go at the prospect of being playing even on week day. ACT III: The above rule is again changed...stating..that mtchs on Fri-Sun can also be swapped ! Reason: Numerous Requests from Abhinit (Team A) as he had exams on 11th. And N states..that the changed rules was of no help to him or his team. Wow ! ACT IV: Week2 mtchs only get started on Thursday..and then the mutual fixation of mtchs between teams commence... All teams held responisble for Dragging mtchs till the very end moment..inspite of having 7 days. ACT V: Controversy Match # 1: Team A & Team C mutually agree on a draw off the record..stating reason as plyrs unavailability. This equates almost mtch-fixing and very unfair to other teams who plyd their matches...till the end...even though being despite less in numbers. ACT VI: Controversy Match # 2: Team B & Team C play a full match....but that match technically flouts the time rule..as pointed by N. I oblige and that match too is negated to be FAIR and in adherence to rules set forth. N still unhappy ... ACT VII: Debates regarding the controversy matches gets escalated unnecessarily way uptil 3am... especially...when these arguments...didnt' even involve any player from Team C who were was the worst affected from the negation.... ACT VIII: Paa brings in a usher of hope at early 7am+ with a lovey dovey valentine message.. ACT IX: Rest audience in here are on their couches rested..with popcorn as they expect a tourney without spice is sure a low key affair !!! All at the End I will state..is that...issues..can be solved if they are meant to be solved instead of unnecessary debates. Atleast for me and my team...we are playing to make the most of the kz2 in its closing stage.. we don't even bother if we are at the bottom of the table... at the end of this tourney.. What matters the most is that we enjoy the games we play.. My fault: Trying to please everyone when they came to me with requests/suggestions....and accommodating... rules thereby.. * Says to self: Stop it henceforth ! I can put a consensus as well for all 20 plyrs to put their decision right here for both the controversy matches and end the necessary ruckus.. All I did was point out your incompetence, that a match you yourself fixed was against the rules. No need to read past that, I have no complaints if you give points team C. In fact that would be what I want. Its the perfect example of how your bring in incomplete rules with plenty of loopholes, then gets fixated on excessive technicality to follow the said the rules. Let the 20 plyrs involved in this tourney...decide the fate of the 2 controversy matches.. Now don't tell me u have an issue with this as well.. as being a peaceful solution.. ALL 20 PLYRS INVOLVED IN THIS TOURNEY: Your vote will now decide the fate of the 2 controversy matches.. All you gotta do is post in this thread about ur votes for each of the 2 matches.. (Match1 is the mutually agreed draw off the record - Between A & C) (Match2 is the one completed after end of timeframe - Between B &C) You just have to post for eg like the following: Match1: YES/NO (Obviously it has got to be either yes or no) Match2: YES/N0 (Obviously it has got to be either yes or no) Yes: Indicates you want the match to be accounted No: Indicates the match has to be negated Once a member cast his vote in this thread. he cannot edit it..as that will nullify the vote.. Votes registered can be poured till 12am 2morrow (Tue Nite). Based on the total vote results.. the fate of the two controversy matches will be fixed.
