I tried messaging the recruiters personally to get referral. What are other methods? I am a btech cse fresher from tier 3 college out of college trying to get response via linkedin Anyone has any experience with that. I was in a similar position in 2019. Got into a product based startup in Dec 2019 through elitmus The test is around 800-1k & you get a lot of interviews in startups & corporate types as well (i attended ~10 in 2 months) Messaging recruiters & employees gets easier as you build xp, but as a fresher it was really tough to get any helpful reply

For freshers it's really tough, even in IT The usual wipro/infy types are there, but that's last ditch

The logical/math type questions are a bit tough, but not entrance exam level. If your English & logical are good you’ll ace it I prepped for 4-5 days and winged it, ~90ish score 1 hour ago, hellblazer33 said: My situation is even if I can get wipro/infy type Oh from your initial post I thought you weren’t looking into those. Their entrance tests are easier than most companies. Have you applied to them? They hold drives every 2-3 weeks. Sent you a DM

Applied to other interviews via naukri but all they gave was some assignment which was not of fresher level to complete and i couldnt. I don't want to discourage you but I don't think a marksheet would have been the sole reason. The assignment was given by the company or some 3rd party? You don't necessarily have to complete 100% of the assignment, that should be your goal. It's just about how you do as compared to other candidates. I think you just need to practice more and keep giving the tests. Try companies like Accenture as well. They hire on a routinely basis.

Menial tasks, low $ and hike ~5% & they have this thing called bench (no work assigned for months, go to office & do nothing) There's a myth/fact that product based don't recruit from them, but a couple of my colleagues are from infy, so not sure of that.

You can also try CDAC course, you'll have to study for 6 months, but they provide lots of high package companies.

Then for a year, spent without a care on Bluray CEs. Then realised how stupid I am, and slowly learnt the importance of money.

Collected a few initial paychecks and bought it on student discount using friend’s ID. Took 4 months salary and some of the amount I had saved during college.

Started with 5K stipend PM at an internship, wanted to look after some of my personal expenses and lessen the burden over mom as she was taking care of my medical expenses and everything. So that and saved some money and also bought a gold ring for my sister for her birthday gift.
