Sony hasn't done anything. Ever since the PS3 got hacked, everyone's just been running around like headless chicken saying Sony will do this and that. They haven't done anything yet barring sue a couple of dudes.

Indian's have jugad for everything..

:harhar:

OT:

they can't implement DRM...maybe for online play like NFS did, but not for offline play...

Will this require a constant net connection like Ubisoft's? Or is it just one time activation or something?

It isnt confirmed dude.

Just a rumor

I dont think SOny will ever implement this .

Or if it does Sony's days r over

Problem is if Sony does do it then I dont see third parties not doing it. And then in turn it will spread to the other two systems, guaranteed. Its been the norm on the PC for years now and its all but killed the second hand industry there. Publishers would love to take up the excuse of piracy and run with it.

 Well duh. Its only been what, 20-30 days since the exploit was found? 10-15 days since CFWs and Homebrews started coming out? And we have already had 2 lawsuits in that little time.

The response will come, its just a matter of time. There is no way they are gonna sit by and let it slide. Only question is will legit users get caught in the crossfire?

Third party publishers knw why games sell on consoles more than PC .

Ppl buy original games and when they r finished sell it.

Not only used games industry is in danger but also rental one .

Rental games for consoles r hardly seen in India but in western countries its very popular .

Sony and other publishers will think 100 times before implementing this

And these is one of the reasons why ppl prefer Disc version over Download version .

Giving our views on a rumor is just baseless ;)

If console games come at the same price as in India.....I'm all up for it. As for your last question, there is NO CROSSFIRE :ack: . When were the pirates really affected in the last place. It's always been the legit users :ranting:
