FIFA 12 Details Surface, New 'Impact Zones'

The first details of FIFA 12 have been released, after Official PlayStation Magazine in France got to speak to the developers working on the title.

Along with general balancing tweaks, the game will feature a few details. One such addition is 'Impact Zone', which will allow players to make contact with each other in various ways. Now, how players interact will be properly formulated. They also talked about the 'AI Vision Game', which will make passing more realistic. If you try to complete a pass where the player is within visible range, it is more likely to complete. It also means that if you try blind passes, like passes to someone behind you, they will be less accurate.

EA Sports will also be amending the injury system. You will now be able to get injured without any contact from the opposition. If you use players too much in a match, they will get tired and become injury prone.

Tons of details revealed in the Official French PlayStation magazine:-

Without further ado, and thanking all journalists working on the Official Playstation Magazine, here are the first details of FIFA 12:
  • New camera will be noticeably closer to the ground and makes the game more depth,
  • New menu interface appears to be simpler and more ergonomic soft,
  • Evolution and calculating actions in real time,
  • Integration of a Contact Management (Impact Engine in English) which should limit the number of contacts present in very crappy FIFA 11,
  • New Vision IA game (Pro Player Intelligence English) more developed that should influence the players' passes,
  • The AI should also be able to attempt strikes, shopping, etc ... Less robotics before then! It should also be able to play on your strengths to Be a Pro mode,
  • The automatic laundry (round or square button) will simply follow the player. It will now support a second time on the button to launch an intervention
  • New management of the protection of bullet that should help players protect themselves less physically anyway,
  • Integration of a new short dribble with the left stick (similar to multiple keys balls Messi)
  • Re-balancing between attack and defense, and between players and players more powerful techniques,
  • New presentation of games that looks very inspired by English games (More colors, more vivid)
  • Possibility of injury, type and other strains (ie without contact with the enemy) if abused too much of a player, especially late in the game,
  • Location of injury if a player takes a nudge, it will touch the face. The AI will also keep track of the shot during the remainder of the match ...
  • Three new arenas,
  • Integration of benches along the sidelines,
  • Impressive lighting effects according to journalists.

Impact Engine: This is defined as the integration of new contact areas on the players. Hips, knees, etc. ...

AI Vision Game: I understand it as an AI more human. Each player will have a more or less according to his abilities. The example given in the magazine: you have a player who sees Fabregas stand out before him and behind him. There will be more easier to find the path visible in his eyes. He will be careful now in the eyes of the player and thus its position rather than the human eye which directs.

Why they keep adding new game modes every year, even though, most of them are useless for most of the players. Heck, I don't even understand the difference between using my own created team in career mode vs. ultimate team. All the modes are like this only, and sadly all are so buggy.

Also, who the f**k plays with sideline camera, its so near to ground, looking at other players is so tough. And now, they want to decrease the height.
