And whether you need it or not, the point is that MS is able to keep its accessories overpriced just because they are proprietary. And there's one more thing Microsoft aint forcing u to purchase HDDs and wifi receivers. U still have choice , they are optional U can play Xbox live thru wired connections , u also have option of using Flash drives upto 16GB whicch is more enough for game saves . The Xbox 360 controllers can be used with u r PC too so they arent proprietary One day u will even say that console is proprietary that Xbox 360 cant play PS3 games and vice versa . About Wifi , HDD and Hdmi dongle . People could easily chose a higher model which has everything . The base model of Xbox 360 alrdy goes for 100$ lesser than PS3 one . Bird Bird Bird Posted June 11, 2011 Report Share Posted June 11, 2011 It doesn't have to be new IP, they can use famous names but change the gameplay significantly so that the players feel that it is made for PSP from ground up, not shoehorned with retarded control schemes like using face buttons for camera. Look at Phantom Hourglass and NGDS, same names but totally different gameplay. The only PSP example I can think of is KZ Liberation, completely remade for PSP and probably the only awesome KZ game out of four. And now you have two analog sticks, so there's basically no incentive for devs to think out of the box and do something different. Just port console games, add touch controls just for the sake of it and make it as backup gaming device to PS3 instead of building its own identity. Faaaack ! I thought I was alone in thinking that. It was my 1st Killzone game and totally loved it. Never enjoyed KZ2 that much. And +1 to rest of the post.
