PS3 Firmware 3.60 Will Include Cloud Storage

The other reason for online storage is backup. So how precious are your saved games :)

one good reason for cloud saves is that some game sequels these days which let you import older saves. it's handy to have saves stored in the cloud. the witcher 2 will allow us to import witcher 1 saves, but how many of us have held on to those since 2007/2008?

As sm1 who lost a lot of half game saves due to a stupid HD crash, i'd love this. time to think about PS+ after all. IT also makes sure that if for some reason my console refuses to work (YLOD etc.) and I get a new console, i'm right where i was.

IMO, this should be a basic feature of current gen consoles. If the HDD is a candidate for failure, then Sony should provide this feature to everyone, not just PSN+ subscribers, that would be so lame

id probably get this too. had my hdd crash on me and it was a bit annoying to have lost all that save data but this is a good move by Playstation. The only question i have is how big is the save space?

If I lose my GT5 savefile I'll probably kill myself, or worse, quit gaming altogether. There's more than 500 hours gameplay in that 5mb file..

:(

Now this feature makes ps+ more desirable.

yeah it sure does mr.ps3

Awesome, I always found it difficult to backup my saves to USB flash drive and use it on another console. How about removing those stupid locks that developers put on their save files?

imo all Valve games on PC have cloud saving.

now that's what i am talking about ni**a

still not buying ps+

+1
