Phoenix Wright
FullHD is overrated. 720 @ high will always be better than 1080 @ medium.

Doobz
Bro get the monitor for the ps3 then if u want or find a vga cable for the ps3 if there is one , But pc gaming wise you wont spot the difference only get worse fps at 1080p But if u can get a vga cable it would be a cheaper option for you unecessary expenditure ona new monitor will be spared

kemosabe
It'll do 1080p but just barely. I'd suggest a GTX460 or higher. But since you'd be bottlenecked by your processor it might not be worth it. Stick to the same monitor you got as the moment you scale higher than 1680x1050 your fps will suffer. And yeah I second what PW says, 720p at high > 1080p at medium. yeah,, I think so..will stick with current rig for this year atleast..i am eagerly waiting for DAO 2,Batman AC,Dues Ex R,rest will be all backlog for me/ // Thanks all of you guys for your valuable suggestions

kemosabe
yes bro.....detail > Resolution anyday as far as PC gaming is concerned hmm...for me smooth gaming is better then anything,,so my most preferred combo for recent game is - highest texture, moderate detail, low or no shadow,0-2x AA,no v sync, low to mid reflection, low or no other special eye candy with native and best resolution,i need to do some trial n error method to find the sweet spot for me.
