devil_angel
hmm...for me smooth gaming is better then anything,,so my most preferred combo for recent game is - highest texture, moderate detail, low or no shadow,0-2x AA,no v sync, low to mid reflection, low or no other special eye candy with native and best resolution,i need to do some trial n error method to find the sweet spot for me. An 8600 would do for that

devil_angel
where from 8600 comes into the picture bro ? It was a sarcasm bro highest texture, moderate detail, low or no shadow,0-2x AA,no v sync, low to mid reflection, low or no other special eye candy This sounds, say, wrong. Your GPU is a really good one than what you're treating it to be. It can do well @ 720 P and better resolutions than that. After that, your choice really. devil_angel
nope.....and I don't know about over-clocking a CPU, but there are good softwares availabe to overclock GPUs.....you find them all over the web and also how to do it...... Btw it reduces the life of the hardware. If you are compromising that with increased performance, you can go for over-clocking.
