dante77
I don't know about FC2 but this is a very good game. it sucks you in. There is hardly any repetition. Worth playing IMO.
Heaven Angel
How is far cry 3 is it as repetitive as far cry 2 ? It does get repetitive but not like Far Cry 2.
Big Boss
How is far cry 3 is it as repetitive as far cry 2 ? Nope. This game is way more fun. Must play.
sudarsan
Thanks , will buy it one day Most open world games do suffer from repetitiveness but far cry 2 was too much I didn't enjoy the travelling and most side missions .God, I f**king hated the outposts. enemies re-spawns after 6 seconds and you having to fight them every time you cross one Hope they fixed all of that in FC3
ALPHA17
Hope they fixed all of that in FC3 Yeah! They fixed that issue but now there is a MOD that repopulates the outposts time to time.
sudarsan
Yeah! They fixed that issue but now there is a MOD that repopulates the outposts time to time. I will be playing on PS3, so i don't have to worry about that
Heaven Angel
The new update allows you to reset outposts if you want. Clearing outpost after outpost is very boring lol. Stand far away and take everybody out with sniper. Game is very easy imo.
ALPHA17
I will be playing on PS3, so i don't have to worry about that Prepare to be bored after a certain time then. Once all the outposts are clear and all side-quests done, you cannot do much and most of your 'l337' skills are locked behind the progressing story-arc, any-way the game is good in the right way although I would still play Far Cry 2 for its fractured narrative. meaNmachine
Yeah! They fixed that issue but now there is a MOD that repopulates the outposts time to time. I don't know about the mod, but after the 1.05 official patch, the player can reset the outposts by selecting “Reset Outposts” in the gameplay options menu. http://far-cry.ubi.com/fc-portal/en-gb/community/detail_news.aspx?c=tcm:21-84255&ct=tcm:6-231-

Too bad there's no wide variety of bows, guns, traps and drugs that you can use to take out the outposts in varied ways. @sudarsan - Get it dude. This is one of the best open world games I've played. There is no way to check either,it only shows the version you are on right now Why are you asking anyway?! I don't remember anything significant that should keep you away from playing this game Even if it was of any significance this game is worth going through every patch It damn good & play if you haven't YesThere is only one btw Sent from my LT22i using Tapatalk
Heaven Angel
1.05 is latest patch. That means total 5 updates released so far. Each update size is about ~250MB (there might be little difference in size for PlayStation 3 version).
