Ne0 Posted December 30, 2013 Report Share Posted December 30, 2013 playing the game after getting it from steam sale .... mighty addictive i must say .... freeing the pirate posts while remaining undetected doesn't get old .... wish they had 3rd person cam for cut scenes and driving though .... driving sucks just like it did in farcry 2 otherwise, excellent game ! dante77 Posted December 30, 2013 Report Share Posted December 30, 2013 Yeah, driving in first person mode in any game is a pain especially for a person who ia not used to it. Even in driving games, the first thing I do is switch the camera mode. Being said that, I think it suits this game. Thats why they chose not to give this option. Not a biggy considering all the positives it provide. And wait till you get to the "Burning weed" part of the game. Absolutely EPIC. Do turn your volume to the laudest in that. Ne0 Posted December 30, 2013 Report Share Posted December 30, 2013 ^^ Its quite difficult to use it in FP mode especially in a game like FC3 where the setting is an uneven terrain/zigzag roads/hills/jungle etc .... the inability to check your rearview mirror / or turn sideways while driving add to your woes .... maybe the devs threw in this as a bonus, since most areas can be accessed easily via fast travel and between fast travels you can cover the distance easily by foot .... but still, driving is a broken feature , one that they did not implement properly .... i just hope atleast for the next game, they add a TP view for driving ....
