HundredProofSam
Awesome job Snake and Dan And ya, it's a shame that neither of the KZ games have done justice to the rich back story. GG really sucks at story telling.
silentassassin
I read KZ2 thread on GAF, and I thought it's from there. So I think GG posted the story somewhere.... Obviously, no one could write the story by themselves. Anyway, it was part of KZ2 launch center too. http://www.indianvideogamer.com/killzone-2-back-story/ Actually 90 % of the people here have'nt read it...including me.. so thought it was essential to add it We dint get it from GAF BTW.... Will rep and read when i reach my pc ... I can't right now for reasons I rather not mention .... U dont need to tell it everytime...U can rep once u get pc... Solitaire
It's not an original write-up, right? Info collected from various sources... I read KZ2 thread on GAF, and I thought it's from there. So I think GG posted the story somewhere.... Obviously, no one could write the story by themselves. Anyway, it was part of KZ2 launch center too. http://www.indianvideogamer.com/killzone-2-back-story/ Actually I think it's from http://killzone.wikia.com/wiki/Time_Line plus the various singular Killzone page links on the wikia. Read it a few months ago. Pity that this story isn't brought out well in any of the games. Still nice work on adding appropriate pictures and separating it into various sections. CM Sunny
seriously superb story. makes me even more enraged why does not killzone have a hyped up sp and universe like Halo ?? seriously fail job by sony on this part. I want kz universe to branch out, novels, meaty sp and they give us cod times (dan said 5 hours for kz3) and kz2's sp while good in length was bland. all this story is only for reading, not experiencing in the game. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.... ! wtf sony wtf.. ? I feel for the helgans I feel for Visari They rose from ashes revenge is their right ISA mofo should be slaughtered
Solitaire
No its not from killzone wikia... Our backstory is much more well written than their's.. Did you even bother reading that? Example from our page: A shortage of oil triggers a global meltdown as nations fight for control of scarce resources. What starts as a limited strategic release of nuclear weapons snowballs into a bitter exchange of warheads aimed at civilian population centers. When the dust clears it becomes evident that a new way will have to be found to survive and to secure the raw materials needed for society to continue. Same section for the wikia: A shortage of oil triggers a global meltdown as nations fight for control of scarce resources. Tensions run high as what starts as a limited strategic release of nuclear weapons snowballs into a bitter exchange of warheads aimed at civilian population centers. When the dust clears it becomes clear that a new way will have to be found to survive and to secure the raw materials needed for society to continue. Go read the other sections too before saying categorically "no it's not from the killzone wikia" Our page has it more concise and also uses the individual Killzone 1, 2 and 3 wikia pages as sources. Obviously there has to be a little rewriting done to achieve a more presentable end result and the pictures added are very very well done. There's nothing wrong in taking a lot of text from there at all when the story is this bloody big.
Django_3101
awesome job snake will read it slowly, in parts I feel for the helgans I feel for Visari They rose from ashes revenge is their right ISA mofo should be slaughtered slaughter them in MP
Solitaire
I feel for the helgans I feel for Visari They rose from ashes revenge is their right ISA mofo should be slaughtered It ain't quite that black and white now is it? SureSure they were displaced from their planet but that was because they broke off and subsequently tried to fight the forces of the UCN. And they weren't shipped off to helghan until their terrorist uprising caused too much trouble on vekta itself. Just cos they're kind of underdogs doesnt mean we should be rooting for them. Besides under Visari they seem to have concentrated on building up the military just like what north Korea is doing.
