Medal of Honor: Warfighter

Review by Emptybox :Overall, I likes it. I likes it alot. For what it is though. Don't expect this game to turn the ARMA player in you into a MoH player, nor vice versa. It feels like a very nice fusion of Battlefield and CoD, however, to ME it feels different - unique from either. Some will surely disagree though. If you are a fan of this type of game, you will like it. If you want slower more realistic games or are a die hard old school BF fan, don't bother. I say neither, because the weapon handling is distinctly BF - infact I find them harder to control than their BF3 counterparts. The game is largely objective based (TDM is available, but not nearly as good IMHO) ala BF, but at the same time a 2 man fireteam can excel despite a team of morons - unlike BF. It reminds me of CoD4 in a way. What is there is pretty darn good. Yea, there are some rough edges and things that could be done in a "more of this please" fashion, but in the end I don't think that will hold it back. Map design however, just may. Lack of maps, much the same.Mechanically, it runs fine on PC. Better than BF3, and honestly looks better. Then again, I really hate BlueFilter3. I did have a couple of issues relating to the game minimizing itself in the SP, and a couple of lockouts of my mouse and a odd graphics glitch in MP - both fixed by restarting the game, no real big deal. Infact, the game with the glitch was my best yet - despite not being able to see the entire left side of my FoV. lolIt looks superb. If you like this type of game, I think you will like it. If you don't, you suddenly won't like it. If you are tired of how CoD became SSDY like it has been for atleast the last 3 years and probably a 4th, you may be interested in this game.Oh, and there are more camos than you can shake a stick at.With more useless attachments that probably do nothing than one could need. With some AMAZING weapon models. Yea, that AG3 is sexy and you know it." Sounds exactly like what I felt from the beta videos !

Not getting Blops 2 after playing this for 3-4 hours now and will trade-in BF3 as well. This is the perfect blend between the slow/largeness of BF3 and the nauseating fast-pace/arcady CoD. Love the gunplay/hit detection, ground is better than BF3 and very competitive. Love the in-game social system too which BF3 severely lacked and that's why most platoons were so disoriented. I haven't even touched the SP yet, but they are saying its pretty decent.

Well done Danger Close.

Disk version here, works good enough. The game does install 2gb of data even from the disk so I don't think there will be much of a difference in loading times.

Only cons I can say about this game now is that menu system is too complicated and will take some time to figure out.

Why does my ATI Crossfire Windows 8 PC crash when playing MOHW?

Our team is aware of an issue with Medal of Honor Warfighter that is causing players with a 6870 Crossfire configuration on a Windows 8 PC to crash when attempting to launch the game.

Unfortunately, Windows 8 and Crossfire are currently not supported by Medal of Honor Warfighter.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Thank you for being an EA player.

WTF!!!

btw

Here's donBlink ,the man I trust the most for this review. He is a regular BF3 payer and his comments are most valuable right now. I am also waiting for shosho to show up his review of the MP and Nextgentactics next. emptybox and pwnstar have already shown that the MP is great.

Here's a true review ! I am buying this ! A campaign which is remniscent of WW2 games (and not of modern shooters) and an Awesome MP.
Here's what Emptybox replied about MP to me :

"I don't want to do a "full review" yet as the community will destroy the game just like always - so it depends on how the game ends up playing in the hands of the masses. Right now it plays great, but it easily could become a camp fest, it could revolve around an OP weapon or become a Apache spam fest - that is what determines how good it is long term, right now, of course it's awesome!"
