Hii Avishkar...

If your laptop has HDMI port, then you can use this cable to connect..

http://www.amazon.com/HDMI-Splitter-Premium-Cable/dp/B000FMJLQC

ie.. if you want both your TV and laptop to be connected to PS3 at the same time..

Thank You.

To see PS3 output on a laptop screen. Basically, playing games on my laptop screen as it will be a substitute for the TV. I have a HDMI port but it is definitely not HDMI in as it's a laptop.

Hey you said you use your laptop screen as monitor for PS3. Can you let me know what all stuff is required for that?

My laptop has HDMI out but no IN, so what do we need to buy?

And resolution of my laptop is 1366x768, so I think it should be enough, right?

Hi dude..

Yeah I use my Laptop screen.. To need this baby

It is basically a video capture device.. Which lets us capture video using the RCA Cable.. It is easy to configure and it connects via USB. You just need to connect and install the driver. You need a video editor which is also provided with the device for free..

You can preview the video being sent from PS3 on your laptop.. make it full screen and you are good to go.. You can play both ntsc and pal discs on this..

But the problem is you can't expect HDMI kind of output.. Enjoy!

hd capture

this seems to be the answer for HD.

but it is insanely expensive.

If you are happy with SD you will have many cheaper options available

Thanks for that link. Yeah, found some very good SD options but that HD option looks good. I think it would be better if I go for that as it is cheaper than buying a TV and anyway my room is not very big here. Do you know how do I connect that to my laptop because it doesn't seem to have a USB slot :scratchchin: ?

I don't get it..why are you looking for expensive HD capture options when you can buy DVI monitors for less? Is the space constraint really such a big problem?

The BenQ V920 is a good option--LED wtih DVI input. It won't be much larger than your laptop screen I suppose(it's 18.5'). Street price in Delhi is in the 7.5k`range.

Hmm, will keep an eye out for monitors too. Will I get proper 1080p displays on them ? I have never done gaming on a monitor before. And yeah, size till 20" is fine for my room.
