Just like casual game devs flame AAA industry for no innovation. I think we all are missing the point, I completely agree with him when he says "Mobile developers are more nimble". It has more to do with agile/rapid prototyping than anything else. Constantly looking at the development loop and improving it is the way to go ahead. It doesn't happen in the AAA industry but Valve pulled it off with TF2,even a small team from That Game Company made 8 different prototypes of flower before shipping anything out. The Wildfire was the first phone I ever played Angry Birds on. Gave it to my Dad as a gift. Then kept borrowing it and playing angry birds now and then. Buzz Posted March 23, 2011 Report Share Posted March 23, 2011 I think they recently released a new one called Angry Birds Rio and it's already topping the charts I won't say the game is bad but there are so may better games on the apps store who regularly get free levels as updates.
