Karooo
Thanks to Sony Europe, we already know that there'll be two models of the NGP handheld. But a survey taken by some of our readers suggests the price difference between those models might be vast. A survey conducted yesterday by research firm Toluna, and sponsored by publishers Ubisoft (it was labelled "Ubisoft- NGP concept- US Adults"), says that "the retail price of the Sony NGP is expected to be around $350", and asks the respondent "How likely would you be to purchase the Sony NGP now that you know this retail price?" That's for the premium model, the one with 3G. The next question, however, says that the version of the NGP shipping without 3G connectivity will be priced considerably lower: at $250. Of course, being a survey conducted by a third-party publisher and not Sony itself, these prices could well be pure conjecture. The fact it's such a major publisher, though, and that it's so confidently-worded, means those prices are at least worth bearing in mind. http://kotaku.com/#!5782436/ngp-to-be-priced-at-250-but-also-350 I think they will go with $250- $300, take a small loss. Shadoken
true...biggest expense would be OLed for sure...that thing costs arm ,leg,liver,kidney... Hmmm but what if only premium version only has OLED? .... and other version sells at 250$ without 3g and normal LCD screen... that way anyone can pick up NGP , and hardcore fans can pick up Premium version (Maybe 400$?) with all features... Would be solid competition for 3DS... DS had big advantage coz of price....

Buzz
I am also excited about it but somehow I think handhelds are best suited for casual or simple games. I don't think I can play anything complex than say a game like Patapon on a handheld.
Choron ka raja
So, Sony is going MS route this time. Ultimate, Multimedia, gaming, basic, and starter edition FTW!
