Dr. AWESOME
Hey fellas, I have recently bought Xbox Slim 4GB model. Been trying to connect to the internet through wireless. I have configured the Network Settings. Set IP as Automatic DNS as Manual It finally connected. Created new account and everything is done. This is my problem. If my PC is running then Xbox won't connect to live or it lose internet connection. If I turn the pc off then Xbox is connecting to live. When pc is on, if I try to test the connection it connects to router then internet then it takes long time to connect it to live. (I can see "!" exclamation symbol between internet and Xbox live) Once its connected it says this "You can connect to XBOX live but your current network configuration may limit your online experience. Select more info for a description of the problem and how you can fix it" If you guys know any solution please help me out. Thanks in advance. Aftrunner
Instead of automatic IP give a specific IP to your Xbox, anything in your range. Sounds like your router is having problems assigning IPs.
Dr. AWESOME
ohh ok! I checked that too. Xbox gave me a suggestion to make my UPnP on. I tried that. After reconnecting, it said "Your NAT is moderate. People on networks with this NAT type may not be able to join certain games or hear other people while playing online. For the best online experience m you need an open NAT Configuration. There may be some additional solution available online at www.xbox.com/networkhelp." How to open NAT? Aftrunner
Go here - http://portforward.com/ Select your router. Select Xbox live. And follow the steps.
