Room was around 1500 or so and it was somewhere during August.. It is close to that popular club in Goa .. Coco or something.. Forgot what it was called.. Death Stryke
Guys, me and my friends are planning a trip to thailand. We've narrowed down some of the places we'd like to visit. Its a 7 day trip. We're fixing a budget of 30,000 thai baht for our expenses in thailand for 7 days. Do u think it wil b ok. We dont plan to stay in high fundoo hotels. 2 star with AC will do. Food also basic street food mainly. Let me know, if anyone has an idea of daily budget. We also plan to indulge in diving and snorkelling etc
godspeed4476
Copa-Cabana?? It has reopened now after the shooting incident.. my ex's mom was in Goa a few months earlier, apparently she is good friends with the owner and gets regular discounts at the place. You can get discounts by throwing her name as well.

Yep its Tito's but they have gone to the dogs over the years. I think the last time I went there I left in about 20 minutes then headed to Anjuna where the party scene was clearly better. Infact, they suck. Suck Donkey Balls. In my life I can't recall ever sticking to a budget. Ever. Also it's weird how Bangkok has so many 4 star hotels. Why 4? In my life I can't recall ever sticking to a budget. Ever. Also it's weird how Bangkok has so many 4 star hotels. Why 4? Actually compared to Budget, bangkok is a bit cheaper compared to KL/Singapore. The tourism encourages the more 4 Star Hotel stay to the tourists.. Maybe the King's Order. M not sure though... But Bangkok do have some 5-Star Hotels, that too beautiful ones.. Bangkok Hyatt & Shangri-La are full of awesumsauces!!

Death Stryke
@Godspeed Thanks, those are a bit on the higher side. Will check further. There are decent 2 star ones available. I just need to find out which ones r ok. I dont need a pool, or even breakfast the next day. Reg snorkelling, i believe a day's worth of snorkelling would cost 800-1000 baht. Thats what i read online only. @achilles With South-East Asia if you are with a bunch of guys, you make it a very frugal trip. Food and stay is ridiculously cheap. Generally its a cheap trip. We have to have a budget. Otherwise impossible to plan the trip too. I've read of western tourists managing to keep their expenses before $50 day. But thats a bit too basic. So fixing it a little higher to enjoy the water sports. Placees ive narrowed down to Bangkok, Pattaya and Ko Chang islands. Cant make it to the southern part that includes Ko Samui, Krabi and Phuket. We'd need to catch a flight for that, plus in 6-7 days u hardly have much time anyway. Edited September 26, 2011 by Death Stryke
achilles
Haha. I can go kanjoos on staying and food. Well, maybe not food but certainly staying. What I can't control is the shopping. And I don't mean electronics. Yeah. Edited September 26, 2011 by achilles
