SchizoidFreud
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P%C3%A8re_Lachaise_Cemetery It is one of the city's most visited tourist attractions. I don't know if you're a fan of the Doors but Morrison is buried there.

As for going to paris, you can do it two way either you take the hop on and hop off or you travel by Metro, considering the fact that you are a group of 5 people i will advise you take the Hop on hop off tour, take a two day ticket and you will see almost everything. Eiffel the usual culprit, go till top floor. Go during evening, Paris looks beautiful from there. montparnasse towrers to look at eiffel from a different prespective. sacre couer. Gallerie Lafayete Evening cruise with a champagne. Notre Dame Chatlet for Shoping. Disney Land Paris(Two parks go on a weekday, it will be crowded on weekend) Palace Varsaille Wax Museum Bastille Opera (Combine with gallerie Laffayete) Louvre (One day) champ ellyes Arc De Triomph Grand Arche(My office is here) Take a paris visit ticket, 5 days travel in metro buses and discounts in museums. Guess that should keep you pretty occupied. Taxis are very expensive, so keep the travel to public transport as much.
outsider
I'd add the Latin Quarter and general meandering along the streets of Paris to that list, as well as the red cafe along the Champs Elysees (It's called Shakespeare I think?). They do amazing dark chocolate ice cream.
AtheK
general meandering i guess was default , haven't tried that dark chocolate ice cream place, let me give it a try next month, thanks for the recommendation. Also mate if you have time you can do a day visit to places around Paris like Dieppe and so on.

Louvre, Notre dame and versailles make it atleast 2-3 days occupied one day for eiffel summit, and maybe dinner there (the 2nd floor one, or if we really want to spend the one on the top floor, JUles Verne) ; planning to take that Sienne tour followed by Dinner at Eiffel as shown here the remaining 2-3 days for relaxing and just being. (or meandering!) . Will try and fit in the cemetry that BoomShankaram mentioned. Dont want it to be too hectic, just so that we can see a lot of places. Want to make the most out of a few good places.
Somebody
Anybody gonna be in London between Oct 13th and Oct 23rd? I'm traveling to the UK alone, and would love to meet any of you if you're willing. Anyway, the trip went great. I traveled to Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and England in a span of 2 weeks. Although I didn't have much time in any one place, the entire trip was awesome. Edited March 5, 2013 by Somebody

AtheK
Biggest Tip: Taxi is so f**ckin expensive that it will rip you a new one, so avoid taxis. Contact Dredd, he was there for quite sometime.

Abhishek.Agg
Are you a vegetarian ? . If yes you will encounter a lot of problems regarding availability of food . Where would you be staying ? . I am assuming it would be company provided . Avoid taking a taxi and you would be fine with public transport . Best part would be The vending machines . I am sure you will like it . FYI Japan is an expensive place . Most likely with the current exchange items most of the food items will be 2.5X or 3X indian prices . Ps - mentioning the location will get you more precise advice .
