Bauji
Go to rishikesh. Although i myself never went there but my friends & brothers have been there. You can do river rafting, bungee jumping, chill near ganga shore in tent, bonfire & few more adventure activites by flying fox. This. Awesome experience it is, especially if you have never done river rafting before.

Also guys, any near by place from Delhi which one can visit...something like hillstation and all...I know Manali is not very far still 15 hr journey is too much. Some more close by which is not very crowded and good pleasant weather. lansdowne - not crowded, good weather but nothing much to do there . love the place If you want to travel further, mcleodganj is a longer overnight journey (12 hours) but can be crowded

As for sikkim i would advice you to go to sikkim tourism center and they are fantastic people to guide you...because going to sikkim with preplanned is not as easy as it sounds....as there are lot of restriction on timings of tourist cars allowed after certain post and some paper work is also needed.....As soon as you reach gangtok..go to MG market right there is the tourism center in the end of the road....they will give all the details you need and what time cars and shared taxis are allowed...how much they will charge etc. Enjoy!. Jan, North Sikkim will be very cold. Places like Zero Point, Yumthang valley might be closed. Nathula area is open but depends on snowfall. You can visit changu lake, kupup lake to the east of gangtok. Pelling is great town to west of gangtok.
