I have stayed at Rove Hotels in Dubai and they are pretty good at very reasonable prices. I loved the vibe and the food. This was in 2019 so I don't know how things are now. Go to the Global Village for sure and also do the desert safari followed by a nice Arabian dinner.  Global village tickets can be purchased online and Desert Safari and other activities are easily available via multiple tour operators or you can pre book them online on tripadvisor or viator. Other than this there are some crazy amusement parks and huge malls. Burj Khalifa is overhyped in my opinion. Rest you can checkout some travel vlogs or articles online.

Prebook activities via klook it's cheaper than getting it there.

Check the premier inn properties spread across dubai and choose a one according to your liking & location. Excellent value for money business rooms and not filled with tourists.

try to maximize travel by metro, it's pretty simple once you start using it. Taxi are easily avb everywhere but expensive. Just hail & sit and tell where want to go unlike in India where you need to plead with them first. AVOID UBER it's even more expensive if you want to use an app for taxi (or food)use careem.

you'll get an Dubai sim upon arrival at immigration you can use that in place activating international roaming on your sim.

The top view maybe but it is definitely worth the visit for the entire thing. The fountain show is excellent, better than I hoped. They have amazing sound effect, like a ferrari passing through when they burst. Fountain show + Dubai Mall + Burj top view. It is good to reserve a day for these activities.

Dubai mall is so big that you are sure to get lost in it. It has all the major food joints from around the world. So  Al Baik and Texas Chicken!!!!!

Yeah, even if you don't go to the top, Dubai Mall and Fountain Show are definitely worth a visit.

Agreed. I meant going to the top is a little overhyped, specially during season time the lines are crazy long. The Mall and Fountain Show is pretty good. In fact I remember there was a restaurant which had a balcony view of the fountains and I enjoyed some amazing food while watching the fountain show. Top notch experience.

anyone has idea about Hong Kong tourist visa, how long it takes to process, and how long one needs to explore the place?

If visiting for less than 2 weeks, just google HK Pre registration and do it (gives you instant confirmation etc). Ensure you carry all documents like hotel details, tickets etc. It’s pretty chill tbh.
