Gather as many docs especially for showing financial sufficiency. This is what I submitted: Passport Passport Copy: Front and Back 2 Photo: 45x45 Visa form Cover letter (including structured itinerary) Air tickets Stays NOC 6 month bank slips 3yr ITR acknowledgement 1yr salary slips Fixed deposits Demat Holdings If you show enough funds and have a good cover letter which mentions that you look forward to being back to Japan in future, you should get multi-year without explicitly applying for it. Helps if you have travelled before to other countries. Otherwise, if your luck is not great, you will get a visa which is sufficient for your trip. Appointments are easy to get and passport generally is available in 5-7 working days.

Is that cumulative of all visits over 5 years of per visit? So is this a tourist visa or a business visa?

Have been getting conflicting information from various sources, will just ask the immigration officer when I travel.

They have an embassy in Mumbai, maybe try calling them and check? … and then let me know 1

Just ask on the 91st day of stay in Japan and let us know what happens By the language (bolded part), it means a total of 90 days.

UK visa also mentions the same but it is 180 days per visit for UK, lol. For Schengen, it is cumulative. Realistically 15 days in Japan every year for 5 years = 75 days but I was just curious about it. Edited March 15, 2024 by KunjanPSD

North
So I'm on the verge of booking tickets for a trip to Thailand with the boys. Now on makemytrip - there is the mmtbiz (or corporate bookings) section. if I use my work email there, it automatically populates company and GST number. Its saving me a 1000 bucks each way on the booking. Will this get me in trouble or can I do this? Pls help if someone knows.
