Alright now that half of you are happy with Sony throwing some free stuff your way in exchange for leaking personal data

i doubt most of us will lose any valuable data. we all had us or eu playstation accounts with fake details anyway. the worst that can happen is they get a hold of our email addresses and our spam filters have to work overtime, that's all. (of course, this applies to those of us who didn't have credit card data + real info stored).

Yes, yes, I was exaggerating.. now somebody set that typo right please :( Has irked me no end last several days.

Haha, anyway some of us.. or maybe it's MOST of us .. did have that kinda data stored. Fake details FTW!

For the record though, was credit card-related data stolen or not? Too many conflicting reports floating all over the net.

CVV numbers were not stolen, and passwords were hashed, which means they only know how long your password is.

Guys got a query, the time PSN plus was launched it marketed itself by stating that the games or items procured either free or discounted due to PSN plus would be playable "as long as the PSN plus subscription is applicable". Now, if that's true the free game or content can only be used for a period of one month or can it used even after the susbsciprion ceases to exist after that month is over.

I don't care sh*t about PSN, but Japanese people deserve much respect for accepting their mistake & being so humble in public. :majesty:

this

it takes courage to literally bow down in front of the media and accept that they messed up, hats off :hi:

Yeah.. thats what I thought. Great marketing strategy so that users can avail their cloud game saves and free game functionality. But 1 month free for PSN plus is cool. I just hope this months PSN plus offering is much better than the last few months. Dont want another Sonic game. :threatenlumber:

same here, not another sonic game  (actually I don't mind Sonic games from Dreamcast if it comes out as downloadable game  )

best thing would be for PSN to do is to give all the game DLCs free for a month :dwarf:
