I dont think dats a good investment ur making, but ppl whoz gonna play thr in ur hub are like animals they gonna eat joystixs every month. And wht it like i mean ur location to hub whr ur gonna open it,are the any serious gamers around or ur the only one.I think the best would be 3 PS2 and 1 PS3.But still u have to keep an eye on ur players woh jazbaat mein aaker joystik phektey hai......:puspa: and seroulsly ps3 joystixs r not cheap. And if ur having a place left go wit the snooker table (per game rate could b around 150 wit aadaa litre pepsi cooool  )

But bro think first see ppl around wht they like, and think of it, r thr any chances of surviveing,AGAR DOOBEY TOH KOI NAHIN BACHAA SAKTAA.......:slap: )

true but i have seen kids flocking here playing ps2 all day long...

so gaming on ps3 with just a lil more rate.. will be a nice upgrade for dem..!

u are right about joystix n stuff... but i can put up a good warning that who ever damages the joystix n stuff shall bare the charges..! that can work out..!

I guess you could start with 4 ps3 and 1 or 2 xbox360 ? :scratchchin:

You could charge about 100-150rs an hour.

Adding a pool table is a good idea but im not sure how you can cover up your costs assuming games are pretty expensive too.

Overall i think you need a min of 60-70k for consoles + games for a respectable gaming setup.

use the ps2 joysticks for the PS3 consoles with a converter for the games which are possible to play that might help out and charge a 50rs/hr thats a reasonable amount for the PS3..

yes baroda..!!

but its still a brainchild :P

time lagega thoda..! :D

Then ill say open something in fatehgunj ( if thr are shops remaining ) since majority of the tuition classes are there, so well give the kids a reason to bunk and play :P and bro you would be best off with having more PS2's then ps3, introduce move and Wii as well, people love it

Start of with 6 tele, ( CRTS are cheap0 ) incorporate ps2's in them, establish yourself in an area where kids are prone to come by, there was a ps2 parlour in Blue diamond complex and that guy earned alot of monies $$$$$ since he was practically having his shop in a place where all other people have their "tuition" :ha: so  think of it that way,

Opt for ps3 once you have a good base since it takes time to get a gr8 ps3 game line up and people to play them too,

Just my thoughts,

as told before, Rs 50-60 is a good price, anything more than that will be a burden on the kids pocket

50 - 60 is damn cheap , he will hardly be making profits .

A game parlor near my college had Xbox 360 , it was 120 per hr and he used to have enough public . That room had a AC too

:chair: that guy was looting you, the game parlor in bandra (the most posh area) takes 60 bucks and makes good profit.

Dang 120 WTH! Here they charged 50rs/hr for both Xbox 360 and PS3. 20rs/hr for PS2 and 10rs/hr for PC. With AC and and all full hd bravia(26and32 inches) tv's for xbox and ps3 and 17''inch lcd monitors for pc and normal flat(21inches) tv for ps2.

Edit : But they use pirated games not original.

3.141592654 rated games could be used for PC and PS2 but for 360 and PS3, he has to use original, and his prices are optimum :good:

dude like the idea is great...but the initila investment would be heavy......getting commercial license and all would be costing some pretty penny...then the assets like couches, consoles, tvs....no way you can sustain with 50rs for ps2 let alone a ps3....but if you dont have to pay for establishment and all then it is ok.....provided you are buying original games for ps2....and arch-on has pointed out rightly that after setting up a base then opt for high end consoles and all.....pool table would definitely be an add on......think about it...... :)

can i put my opinion in this-

1)firstly if you planning to charge 150rs per hour you need to make somethign extravagent at your place. your interiors should be world class.

2)secondly even we charge same 60-80 per hour but we are saving some bucks.reason we have our own space that why no rent issue

3)okay what will will you do about high sky rates for rent.as last time i checked baroda...rates were 15k for 500sq feet shop.

4)also there are few place in baroda where they actualy charge less .i dont know whether they use orignal or pirates CD.

5)also you have to pay entertainment tax and nagar nigam tax if you wanted to open legal shop.

6)about capital it would be 50k per lcd tv and console and another 1 -1.5 lacs for games CD and remotes as ps3 remotes are dead expensive.

7)there are lot of more things you should first try to research rather then opening and investing around 6-10 lacs in market.

if you have any queries let me know will love to reply you back.

Mere gaon mein bhi PC ke 20 rs per hour hai . and PS2 30 rs per hour .

He is opening a shop in a major city . The entertainment taxes and municipal corporation taxes are higher there.

And dont forget to keep cold drinks and snacks, they are highly useful :P
