Assassin's Creed: Revelations

Played it for about 8 hours about 30 percent complete.

There is no tab to select which mode to join but it lets you create a custom game with game mode you want.

R1 mode gives you detail about your friends and comparison of points in different mode but it doesnt let you join kind of mode you want from the list itself.

Platforming section is one of the best i have seen and this time around Ubisoft makes them as large set pieces.

S.P is around 7.5 hours if you completing ignore all optional activities. And Yeah the gameplay is boring now.

in some sections yes,but lots to do and story keeps my interest .

desmonds quest are gr8.

except for the shitty horse cart chase n den protection fight every other thing seems perfect.

some best moments so far:-

Duccio makes a smak in the face appearance.

Ezio sings abt his past enemies.

Desmonds story uptill abstergo.

Yeah that was inevitable.

I was not there day.one and i don't regret it a bit.

I cant believe at one point i believed this to have enormous potential, only to realize that yearly iteration were part of the plan to run it into the ground.

Online MP has been super fun so far, enough to make me stop playing BF/MW. Only played couple of hours of SP but I'm liking what I've seen so far. Also this is the first game where I've unlocked 4 silver trophies before unlocking a single bronze one, wth?

completed the game, as for ezio and altiar stories very nicely done.

hated short ending section for desmond.

felt repetation of previous messages.with only a little bit of addition.

also for those who yet to play this game, play da vinci's disapperance before this,it adds up for the end and makes more sense.

now need to Embers.

Completed the game last night

Overall I can say it was a disappointment for me none of the elements were good enough to keep me pushing to play the game viz. assassins recruits ,crafting bombs , tower defense , tower capture etc. none of them were interesting at all infact the story was one of the slowest i have ever seen in AC series there was no compassionate in Ezio this time resulting in non-attachment to the main character. Also the music wasn't changed much and the same music exists in Revelation as it was in Brotherhood though there were different tracks in Revelations but i couldnt make out which are the those new tracks in revelations.

The only highlight of the game was platforming sections of retrieving masyaf keys they just lifted the game to a different level haven't seen such good platforming along with action sequence so very well done in a very long time.

There were certain first levels with Desmond but they were rather disappointing to say Ubisoft tried something which didn't worked out well. Also there are certain Desmond sequence you play once you get the Masayf keys 5 in all in which gameplay was too say broken at-least they should have been made more action oriented than linear take-downs.

The ending was good though again its WTF feeling again but its more satisfying and it only leads to a sequel hence ubisoft have announced another game in the series.

Hmmm, I guess it would be wise to postpone the purchase and play it when there's a lull in the release calendar. Too many sandbox games :|

I have only played AC1. Didn't have cash back then so couldn't buy AC2 and ACB. But now I came across AC2: Complete edition and ACB: Da vinci edition. Now are these two special editions much better than the stock or base bare bones edition? I don't know if I should just go with any AC2 copy or wait/search for a AC2: complete or plat edition; same with ACB.

help me out of this dilemma :helpsmilie:
