This is a good opportunity for MS to build brand recognition in Japan I think you've got it the other way around. Japan is saturated, US is plateauing, and there's still a lot to grow in Europe. Also, the competition in the handheld space isn't as much from Sony and Nintendo as it is from Apple and Google, and MS is already getting a taste of that with WP7. spindoctor Posted May 11, 2011 Report Share Posted May 11, 2011 I sense more hoping against hope than conviction in that statement. note i didn't mention anything about a resurgence of pc gaming, which is already on life support. pcs might stick around, just not for gaming anymore, but because they do a whole lot of other things. consoles might hold on as media centers controlling the living room, but if they were left to only gaming, then they will necessarily die. everything is going mobile in 10 years.
