Seller rating?

Issue resolved thanks to ebay's policies. Just got a mail today from ebaythat they have initiated refund because seller has failed to comply with required date to ship the order. Seller is unlucky too, got a mail from him too an hour after ebay's mail that there were some issues from the manufacurer's side due to which they called back last batch and the new batch would arrive tomorrow. But now the order is cancelled automatically by ebay.

Has anyone got the wrong item from Flipkart?, I got the shock of my life today to find out after opening the packing that instead of the phone i ordered Flipkart sent me some other cheap phone. First time this has happened to me, i thought flipkart were very professional.

lol, this is the first time I'm hearing something like this. Who is the seller? If it is WSRetail then you are safe. They will arrange a replacement.

 

Nope, not WSRetail its amazestore. The phone was for my father, flipkart dont deliver at his place so he orders the items to my place and i send it to him, i usually dont open the boxes since they are nicely packed, but this time i dont know what struck me and i decided to open it, thank god for that. Did not expect this kind of goofup from flipkart.

Yup contacted them immediately, from their tone it looked like they were very casual about the whole matter, the have initiated a replacement but delivery time given to me is 7th :(

That is too much. Scold them and make up some story like you are supposed to go out on a business trip next week and your current phone is creating problems thats why you need the phone urgently. They will most probably arrange for a earlier date then.

Yup scolded them, had got this delivered after 10 days, now even more waiting, they said that is the best they can do :(,

also how dose the replacement work?, is it hand to hand?, my order page shows that replacement will be sent on 7th while i have to return the one i have got on wednesday.

It works hand to hand. Keep your product ready. The guy will come, check if everything is there in the box and then give you the new product. Just to be safe you open it in front of him and check if it is right phone this time around.

If it ain't WS Retail, you might as well buy from ebay.

 

I do usually avoid buying from anyone else apart from WS Retail, the thing was that FK had a very nice discount of 10% going on for SBI Customers over the product price, got tempted, learned a lesson to avoid FK for anything other than WS Retail.

 

That's weird. Imo you should ask for refund rather than replacement. What excuse fk now has for delayed deliveries.

The thing is i got a nice 10% discount when i purchased that's why i am more particular about a replacement rather than a refund.

The excuse is that the item is being sold by another seller and they cant do anything till he gets a replacement ready.

 

Not really sure where to buy now, Flipkart goofed up my order(would have gone unchecked had i not opened the box), Amazon delivered my Amazon Fulfilled products two weeks late (Their Customer Care is pathetic no one picks up the call for 20mins and chat guys reply with copy pasted answers)

brick & mortar sellers have attitude problems like they are doing the buyer a service by selling the item.

Where is a buyer supposed to go.

Got this from snapdeal. Monitor flickers often and while watching 3d sbs, it changes automatically to 2d mode. Requested for exchange/refund. While applying for replacement/refund request, it says reason is not as oer policy but qe will get back to u. Wth.. Its a defective product and its clearly covered under trust pay. Also no bill/invoice received :-(
