abhi90
There was a discussion and outrage on me about it in corona thread. Let's not go into it here. Every single place has been advocating minimising physical interaction, if you don't want to do that, that's still fine. But please don't make it sound like it's normal. No more OT from me. Normal is something that's done more than it is not done and something that is allowed/legal as well.
Big Boss
Big Basket has stopped CoD in my area saying its to prevent physical interaction. Is Nagpur division run by morons? Anyways, Nagpur is gone down the drain. All hospitals are full and its residents (including my close relatives) are taking Corona lightly. Soon people will die on streets as they are now led by headless chickens after transferring their Municipal Commissioner who was somehow able to control the outbreak. Yes, there is no option for cod on big basket here (Nagpur) too. But I failed my payment and it automatically got converted to cod. Amazon has started cod though. Thanks for information. 1

You can actually return items from Online orders on Bigbasket. The amount goes back in your wallet first, and then to your card if you contact their CC via chat. They had forgotten to bring me one of the items for me, and then they marked as Item returned by me so that the delivery guys don't get blamed. I got the money back for that item. Happened 2-3 times so far.

No point in refusing COD if I have to anyway come into close contact with the delivery guy.

I then pick them up and put it in my bags, staying far away from the guy. This is the standard process they follow here.

dylanjosh
Yeah here also they don't give a bag. Our society doesnt allow them inside so there is a designated space near the watchman they just heap it into piles according to flat number and leave it there. @playstationdude maybe ask your society to try this way. Same with SuperDaily also. Edited September 6, 2020 by dylanjosh

dylanjosh
Yes its a mess but better than the alternative imo. They really should give a bag.
