please guide - I am looking at Samsung Buds2 Pro TWS

1) I have an iPhone, would you recommend Buds2 Pro over Airpods pro? I am considering Buds2 Pro because of sound quality

2) what's the lowest price that you have seen Buds2 Pro?

3) any other TWS you know which has stellar sound quality?

1) No. Not sure why you feel Buds have better quality than APP2. Buds pro work very well with the Samsung ecosystem (SSC), but APP gen 2 has far superior sound IMO. Best in class transparency mode and noise cancelling too (ensure to keep the inner mesh free of wax). The sound signature stays the same whether you use transparency or ANC. No ear pressure, which is a boon for people like me with tinnitus.

3) Sony 1000XM4s - but the size difference is substantial.

- APP2 works wonderfully within the Apple ecosystem. Seamless and quick connectivity, Dolby Atmos, spatial audio, single pod ANC and tons of small features for iOS.

Don’t know whether you’ve heard of crinacle but he’s a legend in the global audiophile community. He says Buds2 Pro have the best sound quality

1) quick Bluetooth connection

2) best sound quality and good battery life

I'm not an audiophile but after using WF1000XM3s, Samsung Buds and a few others, the sound signature of APP2 is pretty near perfect for my ears. Add to it the zero pressure and excellent noise isolation - and they are probably the best I've owned so far.

If you don't want ANC then budget can go less. But can't recommend much since ANC is a top priority for me.

If you want quick BT connection then Apple AirPods is the way to go. The connection is seamless when you’re on the same eco-system.
Example, I’m using my iPad with AirPods Pro 2, I move my head towards the iPhone it instantly connects to that for sound. You just need to pair it once by keeping both devices close and you’re done.

Sound quality of the AirPods Pro 2 is amazing, so far the best I’ve used! A new adaptive audio feature is coming in a future update. If you want USB C, wait a few months for the updated version.

As for 3rd party connection with an iPhone - I tried it with my Corsair Virtuoso XT gaming headphones, I have to choose the device in BT menu each time I want to use it, not so seamless. Could be same connection hassle with other brands like Samsung.

Conclusion - If you own iPad, iPhone - AirPods is the way to go.

I would recommend not going into audiophile path.

I have airpods pro and buds plus and mostly I used buds plus they are very robust they have rolled under me while sleeping and nothing happens to these pair

Same with APP2 tbh. I've slept with them, on them etc etc. Sturdy AF.

My sony used to connect with iPhone without any issue once they were paired.

That said sticking to ecosystem is the best Idea, so even I will suggest Airpods.

I sometimes don't agree with him. For IEMs, yes I generally have faired well with his opinions and love some of his colab IEMs but not with TWS he bashes some really nice TWS. BTW the ANC on the APP2 is phenomenal and the sound signature is also pretty good. However, having said that I love my Senn MTW3, I love the sound signature after a bit of fine tuning but the ANC is no where near Bose/APP2.

If you are not looking for ANC and audio quality is your primary consideration then why don't you just use some really good IEMs ? Use a digital Bluetooth AMP/DAC and you are set ? Something like the FiiO BTR7 and some good IEMs and you have the best sounding wireless audio which you will not get in any of the consumer grade TWS.
