There is a seller, hastalavista, absolute fake. Stay away.

There is only one seller selling Brooks on flipkart, that's HSAtlastradefashion. Is this the same seller?

The seller is legit verified by Brooks India and already got Ghost 15 from the same seller.

Could have gone with Glycerine 20 or Ghost 15 its quite cheap and quite superior unless you need stability shoe

Phew, thank you so much for the confirmation about the seller.

So brooks have a quiz on their website to suggest which shoes to get, I took the quiz and it told me that I needed a shoes which gives support because my alignment is not good. So it suggested me Glycerin and Adrenaline, that's why I got the adrenaline.

Once again I genuinely thank you for your recommendations of Brooks, I would have honestly just bought Nike and not even considered these without your suggestion when it turns out these models are actually much better than the Nike one I had initially ordered.

iPhone 14 128gb @ 55k after card discount, no exchange

Good deal?

I bought for one of my friends at 51K when sale just started but still 55K is not a bad deal. Do check out with people you know, flipkart has a tendency to show different offers for different people. Like, it is 54K for me as opposed to 55K on your account.

If you just want an entry level iPhone, get the 13 instead, if you can get it for 8-10k less. It’s a better phone.
The only additional feature on the 14 is satellite comms, which doesn’t even work in India.

If you want a long term phone, get the 15 directly from Apple.com

It’s only around 20k more than the 14 with HDFC cashback.

Now price is down to 52K for my account.

My mother uses iPhone 14 base model and honestly I found it very average. I'm not an iOS fan though.

Base iPhones are entry level phones for iOS. Not sure if there’s anything interesting unless you’re locked to iOS.
Plus adds a large battery.

Pro models add better cameras, software tricks, better build etc.

After so many years for maturity, there are hardly any major differences between both OSs. Visual difference exist, and Google is of course pushing more AI, Apple leads with Pro Log and DV shooting and a bunch of image manipulation techniques (literally touch and drop stuff from image to other apps or for stickers etc) - but both are mature OSs with pros and cons. Just choose what you want.

I am taking open box delivery from Flipkart for an iPhone. Any tips on what all to check? Any general advise?

While the guy opens the box, ensure that the Apple seal hasn’t been open before. It’s common for FK to put a double seal over the Apple box - and their f**king seal generally covers the Apple seal, so can’t even see the original one from outside.
Also turn it on and match serial number on box with phone and also verify with Apple site for activation date (which should ideally be the day of turning the phone on).
Most importantly- make sure it’s an iPhone and not some well made dummy.

To add to this, make sure you are the one unboxing and verifying everything before sharing the OTP.

It’s a terrible feeling to have someone else unbox and touch your brand new purchases. :P
