Â These costs would be much more in absolute terms but an etailer can cover the whole country with a single website but a retailer can only cover a very minute area from a single shop. They tend to be cheaper because they have a standard 3.5" desktop drive inside. On an average they are also more reliable than the slim 2.5" discs.  The smaller variants are portable, more compact and obviously do not require an external power source, so the choice is yours to make.
