Heyy guys, I have a sony vaio which is 2.5 years old. It started giving me problems from day 1. but in the past six months it is just getting worst. So as always its windows needs to be re-installed every month, but yesterday it just shut-down while i was surfing the net. i restarted and it just kept on dieng after reaching the windows logo, its kinda in a loop-hole. it just keeps on shutting down..

SO, guys tell me what could be the problem? Is it the windows or the Mother-Board...

It's probably overheating because of the dust clogging the ventilation fan. If you are into warranty, give it to the service centre. Else youtube on how to open your model and clean the innards (risky).

Before doing the above, try booting inti safe mode and reinstall the latest version of system drivers like ATI/Nvidia/Intel graphic drivers, audio drivers etc. Same issue happened with me 10 days ago and the problem was with the corrupted Nvidia drivers. Download the lappy drivers from LaptopVideo2Go.

I can try the first thing, but the second part is not possible as it wont even start in the safe mode, as whatever option i choose its gonna shut-down....

thanks for the help...

It probably is overheating. Let it cool for a couple of hours. Salay freezer main rakh de 2 ghante.

Besides that, I had a similar problem where my system would shut down after getting into windows. That was some problem with the time. My time auto set itself back before y2k. Check your bios maybe date and time settings could be the problem? But besides that the problem sounds like that of overheating only...
