We on the other hand just play for fun now... with females yu gotta downgrade yur play so much that it starts getting stuck on yu.. but we make sure that 4-5 ppl who play well, get the last 3-4 games before leaving... thats when the sweat starts rolling and curses start flyin'! Here, yu have a "No Smash" rule whenever there are a set of boobs playing on the court! :| earlier I used to be very good with smashes, straight dipping smashes yo... but with majority of the games with these rules, all I find is the net now! & yeah my school didn't have a badminton team.. I even persuaded my sports head but to no avail! I have defeated a couple of zonals & a state level (sweetest victory ever.. will never forget that) when I used to play regularly & and in my prime... now its just like an activity to pass time & have fun with friends... I consider myself pretty decent with drops... A couple of tips that I can offer are : Never pre-meditate a drop shot... That makes it predictable & defeats the purpose of a drop... make it as deceiving as yu can.. i.e. pretend yu are hitting a power shot but instead just grace the shuttle at the last moment like hitting a slice... the shuttle would wobble in the air which would confuse the opponent for a split second & that is whats needed for the shuttle to just fall next to the net... Also trying cross court drops with a flick of the wrist.. If timed properly, they will go fast & drop fast as well!! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
