Vip3r
For downloadin yeah However the speed will reach the advertised 3.1Mbps reaches rarely Most cases I was stuck with a measly 30-60 range. That said downtime is non existent and youll get sbetter speed at night and based on the quality of the ahem source
HundredProofSam
Even I'm interested in a USB-based Internet service. Today's the first I've heard of MTS. How's their customer support? How are Reliance and Tata Photon?
Sackboy
I used TATA photon+ for some time , very good service , they delivered to home next day and picked up papers , didn't need to contact CC again
tussh13
which of these will actually give a good plan to make online play possible...
shekdown
I was using Tata Photon+ for work purposes and it was pretty awesome. It was quicker than Reliance. I had a dedicated IT team, so never had to contact Reliance directly, but from what the IT Regional Head told me, he was very happy with Tata. Ofcourse, the use would vary from person to person. Mine was to do some minor browsing and just quicker access to the office dedicated servers and obviously mail. Downloads were done quite quickly. Highly recommended from my side. Bird Bird Bird
Why not a 3G stick and MTNL/BSNL 3G sim ? Speeds are at par or in some areas better than Photon+/Netconnect+ and the cost is much less as compared to Tata/Reliance.
mittu
For online gaming am not sure if usb sticks are the right deal, usually latency is way high to have decent gaming exp. Check with someone who has one and uses it for gaming. I have BSNL EVDO connection, and i do get speed above 1 Mbps, however latency is on higher side, (150-220), so i use Airtel Broadband for PSN or CS and BSNL Stick for downloading. Bird Bird Bird
^^ None of the USB sticks will gibe you good pings. In general, wired connection will be having way better pings than wireless ones, so gaming is kinda out of question. For normal browsing, surfing, streaming, downloading etc, they are good. How are Reliance and Tata Photon? TAta Photon = great speeds+ expensive MTS= keeping me alive at Trivandrum never had to deal with Customer care and that is a good thing 999 ul gives one 15 gb (enuf for a Game of Thrones after a long day fck fair usage policy) online recharges ar as expected lightning surfing speed is really good Reliance= can't say but overall taking cost of device into account MTS is pretty good I have used it for hours in end gets a little hot but works like a charm Good ahem aquiring ahem waves of ahem shows download at 150 ks

Speed actually depends on the areas . In Mumbai I used to get better speeds on tata photon + But in Ratnagiri Netconnect+ gives better speeds .
