I have yet to see a gaming comment in this thread... that relates to marriage and gaming and life after marriage!. I was waiting for the person who says I play games with my wife (I mean Videogames), We together spent some X hrs. in Xbox LIVE, we played Co-Op and multiplayer. My wife kicked A** in COD Multiplayer... My husband is best in KZ2 Bodycounts... etc .. etc u know. But I guess wo din..aayenge nahi! Read from page 1 onwards and then edit your comment Plenty of ppl telling about gaming with their better half. Megz even said her folks used to game a lot. I used to play mario contra when i was a kid and rented the NES system and played them whole night. Then kinda lost touch with gaming. Not much into PC gaming either. Then we had to stay at a frens place for a few months and he had a PS3. Thats where my wife saw my happiness whenever i had a controller in my hand. Eventually she bought it. I said I am ok with PS2 but she was like " Buy the latest and best , because this is your first and last console" and i was like 1. How does your spouse feel about your gaming time? She is ok as long as I dont over do it (which i do if i hv to finish a title in small span of time ) . Though she hates playing but she understands that this is my solace. Infact she is the one who encourages me to play whenever i need a mood uplift. She knows it is my passion and also gifted move bundle to me this birthday. Though I know she would prefer me-not-gaming to me-gamin anyday. 2. Does she think those gaming figurines would come in handy for the kids to play with? Not into figurines at all. 3. And the money spent on this passion, how does she feel about it? Sensitive topic. But since I am not much into online multiplayer and i bought pS3 quiet late. I am still clearing my backlog. Playing old classis PS3 games like infamous LBP etc which are now available at cheap. Recently started SSF4 online with a friend and this answer might change a few months down the line. 4. Do you encourage your wife to play some videogames with you? I have given up. She did play TT on move for few hours. But thats the best I have been able to achieve. There was a time when we played HOG PC games like addicts but now she doesnt enjoy them and I in any case played them for the puzzles part. 5. Would you be happy, surprised, thrilled or scared if your wife also became a member of IVG? This would only happen on the day I become the number 1 player on leaderboards of KZ3 KZ3 BFBC2 UC2 etc. 6. Do you encourage your wife or share her passions say may be, Saas-Bahu serial, Or Romantic YRF movie Or Cricket, Or Bhartnatyam Dance Show etc..? Yes. Since we have one TV and she is a TV addict ( like me ) my gaming hours are limited. When she watches her serials I surf the net/IVG. Movies - Even I can watch any movie. Cricket - I am not extreme cricket fan so I watch only few matches and I am allowed. World cup I watched ball by ball. IPL only last few overs 7. How many hours in a week you devote to your Gaming? Weekdays 1 hr .. weekends 2-3 hours... If she has gone to office and I am working from home then on that day 7 hours 8. What are three things you wish your wife would understand about you and your connection with Gaming? She already understands a lot. Infact she is saying buy another TV just for gaming. 9. If you want one game to see your wife beat you in..Which one will that be? Not applicable. 10. What changes after marriage?? As in, Me time, utilization of me time, you as a person Since i did not have PS3 before marriage I dont know the change but yes at times I wish i get more time to play. 11. Would you like your kid(s) to be an avid gamer(s)? Yes but not addictive. Everything within limit is fine. 12. Have you ever planned a surprise gift/ party/ outing for your better half?? Yes.
