Ok one question to the Unmarried ones:

1. What do you do when you are playing a game, and your girlfriend calls.

a) The game can be paused and re-started from the same point

http://www.indianvideogamer.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/#EMO_DIR#/cool.gif You are in a mid of a tournament say online.

Since I am in a long distance relationship (6000 km long  ) calls are ruled out. Unless I'm playing MK9 online, I always pause the game and reply to my GF before doing anything else

I love it when people say "always" since 100% probability is obviously possible, FU Mathematics

It's not that hard to pause a game and just text back  Because I'm so cool, she got me a PS Vita :D

the way i look at it, there are 4 stages to the general question of how to deal with your other half, they are :

1) GF : You're always gonna be putting the games on pause.

2) marriage 1 yr : The games initially shall ALWAYS be paused for the first 6 months, followed by "I'm coming honey" that can be stretched to 15 minutes.

3) Marriage yr 2 : "I'm coming honey" changes to "My hobby"

4) Marriage yr 3 onwards : You either have convinced her that gamings ok & manage your time, else you goto the dark side :saberfite:

Dayum you got all of that spot on.

Whenever my wife calls me (from another room) while I am gaming, she waits for like 2 minutes. And if I dont respond to her in that time she comes and presses the power button on my ps3.

Sacrilege! My wife once shut down my PC... it has been a few years since and let's just say we have now agreed to disagree on that :notangel: .

Never happened with me. I don't think she will ever do that, because I told that if she does, I will have to do that part again and hence more gaming time. :D

When she comes to turn off my ps3, I yell, "NO NO BAD BAD BAD SHOO SHOO!!"

She gets pissed even more and 'BEEP' down goes my ps3 :P

You know what they say, "Once a woman knows how to push your buttons..."
