goneforever
yeah...I still check the kid section of Landmark whenever I visit forum mall here in Bangalore..I also visit Hysteria there- collected two superman and batman shirts (wife was not there- I can alone ).. I went crazy at hypercity. Went to buy some toys for my daughter and ended up with a r/c monster truck and some hot wheels. No I didn't forget my daughter. Still got her some Mickey Mouse softy and some angry birds bath companions. My wife gave me The Look.

Actually I took it apart sometime back. I'm working on a boat conversion but that's been on hold a while now... Not enough time anymore... But I'll get it done this year. I m not grown-up but I think our better halves(male or female) deserve to know each other and both should spend time even if its ultra-silly and kiddishly questionable. Else in todays time where divorce is more frequent than marriages, its not rare to find one sitting alone without the one we love the most. Sometimes we tunnel (vision) ourselves to block other out, sometimes we cant digest a small silly mistake/hobby and thus, forget about the other one and secretly wish that if they had understood....things would have been better. kemosabe
I is not a adult yet ;__; You might be an exception..Exposing too much to competitive FPS kills the innocence of a child, if you live long enough, there enough time to play such game. The way you enjoy Mario during your childhood might not be similar when you become adult. Actually I took it apart sometime back. I'm working on a boat conversion but that's been on hold a while now... Not enough time anymore... But I'll get it done this year. great !! I thought about getting into it, but time constraints kills the whole idea I m not grown-up but I think our better halves(male or female) deserve to know each other and both should spend time even if its ultra-silly and kiddishly questionable. Big Boss
during my childhood - I really need to work/study to get my hands on my first hot wheels Yup, same here. Study well and then only get toys, video games etc. Nowadays kids get everything so easily. I used to get new games only when I came in top 3 of my class exams
goneforever
IVG ID : plasmakidGaming stuff I own : PS2, PSP, PSVita, replica NES (Terminator)Married since : December, 20091. How does your spouse feel about your gaming time? I normally play late so it doesn't generally interfere with our time as a family. Sometimes she joins me when our daughter goes to bed. 2. Does she think those gaming figurines would come in handy for the kids to play with? I don't have any but I don't think she'd have an issue with them as long as there's no Kratos. She hates that guy (He's hard to love and all ) 3. And the money spent on this passion, how does she feel about it?Never been a big problem since she was the one to got me the PSP, PS3 and PSVita. As long as I know where to draw the line. She sometimes may get pissed if I forget but if I really want something she'll prolly gift it to me at some point. Megz questions v1 :4. Do you encourage your wife to play some videogames with you?Yep but she mostly sits down with me for bouts of Tekken or Soulcaliber. She's currently liking Child of Light but mostly fighting games. I suck at those badly 5. Would you be happy, surprised, thrilled or scared if your wife also became a member of IVG?This is not likely going to happen but in the extremely rare case it does I'd be surprised to say the least. 6. Do you encourage your wife or share her passions say may be, Saas-Bahu serial, Or Romantic YRF movie Or Cricket, Or Bhartnatyam Dance Show etc..?I used to never watch TV but she's got me to round to watching a lot of shows. She introduced me to Supernatural, The Shield, Breaking Bad, Penny Dreadful, House and The Strain. So to answer the question yep. 7. How many hours in a week you devote to your Gaming? 3 hours every night and about 5 over the weekend. 8. What are three things you wish your wife would understand about you and your connection with Gaming?Nothing she understands it. Megz questions v2 :9. If you want one game to see your wife beat you in..Which one will that be?Any racing game. She can't for the life of her keep anything with wheels on the track, road etc. Now that I would pay to see 10. What changes after marriage?? As in, Me time, utilization of me time, you as a person Nothing much as we were living together for 3 years before that. We both knew what to expect. 11. Would you like your kid(s) to be an avid gamer(s)?It seems like she already is headed that way. I've already had to buy her a cheap tab so she keeps her hands of my PSP. I don't know if this is something that will wear off over time but if she is a gamer I'd be thrilled. Local co-op would be fun. 12. Have you ever planned a surprise gift/ party/ outing for your better half?? Lots of outings but for some reason she never been surprised. Note to self : I need to surprise her by not doing anything. Now that would be fun Wow that was a whole lot of questions Edited August 5, 2014 by plasmakid

Seeing the 40s, I remember the boring-but-wise movie 'This is 40'. Movie based on a couples life when they hit the age of 40 and all events that accompanied with it (cant even describe those events, so scary). Looks like you are nearing that age man...take care. But I dont get it, what household items a gal-turned-woman needs except washing machine n all? Are they old or what? (not necessary to reply) I mean, are they really imp than your The One and the new The One.
The Wolfy among us
40k for a console is hugely excessive imo.
