Aftrunner
The netcode of this game has gone down the shitter since the population declined. I tried playing with my cousin today and out of the 10 or so BTB games we tried about 3 were playable. We ended up switching to COD. And he is a hardcore Halo lover. :/ Also page 117 \o/

ScrewyAurum
Our Campaign team slaved away on that particular part of the Halo 4 experience for many-a-months. Over one million of you completed the Halo 4 Campaign in the first five days after launch, and thousands of you continue along that path – sometimes numerous times over. Here to shed a little light on that which has not yet been found is Lead Campaign Designer Jesse Snyder. The Halo 4 Campaign still contains many secrets left uncovered. Hidden in various missions by our venerable mission designers, easter eggs have been lying dormant, ticking clocks simply waiting for a pair of eyes outside of 343 to see them. Eyes that could be yours. Did you find any secrets as you played through Campaign? Initially, fans found many things that they thought were easter eggs. Discovering that, in fact, many were still hidden, we were relieved. Avid secret hunters claimed that some of our treasures would be found within days of launching the game. “Certainly, they’ll find them any day now,” we thought. Time would prove both us the aforementioned secret hunters wrong. Act quickly and maybe you’ll find an easter egg on your own, but that time is about to pass. We’ve decided to give you some hints to help you uncover our secrets, without telling you where they are outright. Additionally, we’ll be giving you more hints in future Bulletins. Knowing how well we’ve hidden our easter eggs, it only seems fair. Even though this may sound cliché, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try, again.” Never stop searching. Some secrets might be right in front of you. What is it? An appreciation of architecture, and a return to nature. Where is it? It may be beautiful, but returning here is deadly. What is it? A deadly ambush waits for you If you have the will to power through Kill them all, your reward is great Weapons to turn the tide of fate Where is it? After the enemies rain from the sky Before the doorway through which you fly You must return to the rock on which the ledge is by Patience is a virtue, but your death is nigh What is it? A congenial sight. Where is it? Lost in the belly of the beast.
ScrewyAurum
Majestic Map Pack Screens
ScrewyAurum
The Halo 4 Majestic Map pack will be released on February 25th. It's been developed in tandem with external developer Certain Affinity, which has worked on several pieces of Halo content for Microsoft in the past. The expansion contains 3 new maps designed for up-close-and-personal gameplay, best suited to small teams. The maps are titled Landfall, Monolith and Skyline. Furthermore, the pack includes 2 new DLC playlists and a new free-for-all game mode called Infinity Rumble. The game is set up in a way that every kill and death feels meaningful, this is created by having slower spawn times in the free-for-all matches. Infinity Rumble will be exclusive to the Majestic DLC playlist for a period of time. The 2 new playlist are Majestic FFA DLC for 8 players, and Majestic Team DLC for 4 vs. 4. There are 10 new achievements, if you're into that sort of thing – that's 250 points. The new maps will also be integrated into existing Infinity Slayer, Capture the Flag, SWAT, Regicide, Doubles, Team Objective and Team Throwdown playlists. DLC maps will appear in a playlist if all members of the match have the content purchased or the War Games Map Pass, Microsoft said. The Majestic expansion will set you back 800 Microsoft Points, but if you picked up either the Halo 4 Limited Edition or Halo 4 War Games Map Pass, you'll automatically get access. Finally! Some CQC maps.
Aftrunner
I really hate that they are holding new gametypes hostage to DLC. They pulled the same bullshit with the last map pack. Its really scumbag behavior even if its time limited.

ScrewyAurum
Title Update Change List Gameplay• Reduced the range of the Boltshot’s damage scaling over distance. The previous effective range for 1-hit kills was around 20-25′. The range has been reduced to 15′. • Fixed an issue where modified loadouts were not being saved correctly. • Fixed an issue where attempting to sprint while crouching using “hold to crouch” would cause players to be unable to shoot for 1-1.5 seconds. • Fixed an issue where some players were not able to get into matches on new map/game variants after playlist updates. • Fixed a DLC-related Join-in-Progress issue that kicked players back to the title screen. • Fixed various issues regarding glitched Autosentry deployment. • Fixed an issue where one player per session was unable to stay scoped with the Flagnum. • Fixed an issue where clients playing multi-round matches were not propelled by Man Cannons after the first round on Wreckage. • Fixed an issue for players who had licensed content for the specialization offer, and had the free Map Pack content, but did not have the Map Pass or Map Pack license by displaying a new error message: “You have Map Pack content that requires a license. Please purchase the War Games Map Pass, purchase the Map Pack individually, or delete the Map Pack content from your console.” Vehicles• Fixed issues with friendly fire against vehicles. If FF is disabled, damage/EMPs from friendly sources will no longer damage vehicles that are fully controlled by your team. • Fixed an issue with where the Wraith secondary turret became disabled when shot with a Plasma Pistol. The feature has been updated to be consistent with previous Halo titles. • Fixed a Mantis functionality exploit that allowed pilots to survive planted grenades. Specific Game Modes• Friendly fire turned off in Flood to prevent exploits. • Fixed Flood character models to allow for Warthog and Mongoose use. • Fixed an inconsistency with King of the Hill deathcam. • Fixed an issue where the Grifball would get stuck in geometry and never respawn. • Fixed the issue for Extraction where players did not regain full control of their character for extended periods of time after interacting with a site. • Fixed multiple Extraction scoring issues, including an overtime fix that ensures that a victory will not be awarded to a team who is controlling the go-ahead extraction point when the game ends. Custom Games• Fixed an issue that did not allow players to create respawn timers or disable instant respawn in custom games. • Fixed an issue on Shatter where players couldn’t start a custom Dominion game. • Fixed an issue where the Ordnance game options reset when scrolling up or down in custom games. • Fixed an issue where custom game descriptions did not appear in the “Settings” preview screen. • Fixed inconsistencies and bugs in the final death cam for custom games. • *Infinity Rumble added to default gametypes list. Spartan Ops• Fixed an issue where the “Dedicated to Crimson” Achievement could not be unlocked. • Fixed an issue where players in Spartan Ops Episode 6 Mission 1 were able to look around before the vignette. Miscellaneous• Fixed a selection of issues where theater clips were missing map-specific audio, including ambient noise and announcer voice. • Fixed File Share preview images for films and map variants. • Fixed issues with in-game translations. • Fixed title screen camera clipping. • Fixed an issue with Forge pieces and the shadows they create. • Fixed aliasing split screen HUD issues. • Fixed an issue where some saved films of Forge games featured no Forge lighting. • Fixed incorrect “change description” text in File Browser. • Fixed assorted crashes. • *SR-130s will now see ‘Mastery’ under their name in pre-game lobbies and not their last Specialization. The above change list was provided in the Halo Bulletin – 20.02.2013. *- These are changes found which weren’t listed in the patch notes but were changed for the 1.03.00 Title Update. NOTE: Those who have hit SR-130, you may have noticed your player card now says MASTERY in a lobby and not your final Specialization, this wasn’t mentioned in the patch notes. Aftrunner
Man, I have had an awesome run of games recently. Been going like +10 every other game. Of course if I ever join a player above my skill level (hi JD), I barely make 1:1 KD. :/ Anyway, since coming back, lag seems mostly minimal. Dunno if they fixed it or if it was my net earlier. Aftrunner
For someone like me who plays a fair amount of MP yeah its worth it. If you are in it for SP alone and have little interest in the MP, you would probably be better off with a disc.
dylanjosh
I don't know, that's the problem. Years ago I tried Halo 3 MP and didn't like it too much. But in the last couple of months I've been playing Halo 1 MP with friends and having an absolutely blast. I can borrow a disk from my friend but I think it's too late. This deal is only for 1 day right? I hope they have a recap or something on the last day like steam
