Right
From past 2 days, not able to connect to LIVE. During the connection test, it's showing DNS server error for resolving the Xbox servers. I connect xbox thru a laptop using internet connection sharing, that the same setup worked fine till yesterday. I have tried using different DNS servers (google and Opendns) also, but no luck. I will try directly connecting with router, but the router is very far off from the xbox and the ethernet cable will run all over the house...so don't want to use it for longer run. Choron ka raja
Since you are sharing laptop connection with xbox, use these settings. For console: 192.168.137.xxx (xxx can not be 1) 255.255.255.0 192.168.137.1 DNS servers: 192.168.137.1 192.168.137.2 For laptop: Keep every setting to automatic. And then, which is your connection to router, select that, and re-share the connection. Make sure to check router settings for open NAT.
