Choron ka raja
If power supply shows green light when turning on the console, then console is done for good.. only choice is replacement... ask MS support, they might help you with replacement. if not, probably power supply is faulty, for which also, MS might provide you a replacement. Also, for e74, there is three years of warranty, in case your console is less than 3 year old, its a nice way to get rid of old one, and get a new shiny slim for free from MS. Choron ka raja
http://forum.teamxbox.com/showthread.php?t=472553 read the error codes... your av cable is either faulty, or the gpu connector is burnt out cuz of overheating.. Try with another cable, if you have any. If not, just call customer support, tell them the nature of problem. they will ask you for bill. Get your console registered in your name, if it is not. If it is already registered, then they will know how much warranty is left. If not, then they will ask for console serial number to check warranty. Chances are the console might not be registered, as you never contacted support team ever. In that case, they will replace the console, as there is no proof of warranty. If it is already registered earlier, it will be detected as out of warranty, hence no replacement. So, confirm with support team regarding your warranty. If you don't get free replacement, you can get it replaced for a charge, or throw it away and buy a new one.

Choron ka raja
how abt telling MS CC that he has RROD instead of E74 error. E74 is RROD. RROD, is for hardware failure. Different segments for different type of errors. So, when you say, E74, it actually means RROD. wont they cross check it??? They will send you replacement console, after having discussion with you over phone, and taking your address. The person who is supposed to replace the console, hardly ever checks, so yes, you might fake an RROD. But, why would you do that, when you already got RROD? jugz2006
I just called them and they said I have to register my console first since its not registered... Now the problem is since its a launch 360 should I tell them the exact date of purchase which is way over the 3 year warranty period or can i tell them any random date that would be covered in the 3 year warranty... also will it be a spanking new console or will they just send me a box to put my console in and take it away for repairs??? Cause I had a word with this guy who said he'll repair it for 1.5 k!!
