Im not a drinker, not even social, but Ive heard my friends crib about the lack of pubs here as compared to Bangalore. At Chennai, the pubs which are awesome are all extremely highly priced and the others are, well, Tasmac. I have a lot of friends studying in Chennai and all and even staying near Chennai, they all dislike the place although i've never been there so i can't comment but i guess Chennai is better where night life is concerned.
