I'm looking for a good mic that can be attached(or a separate high sensitive mic like Audio Technica professional mics) with Audio Technica ATH M50x and Logitech UE6000 for gaming. Willing to spent up to ₹2000 please suggest me a gud mic

Got the hyperx core.

Initial impressions:
Pros: no bullshit. price. has a premium feel. somewhat isolates noise. sound quality is good overall. really comfortable!!

Cons: may lose the mic cover. ears sweat.

Does it require a amp for use in PC? Sound quality seems better on my Vibe x3, with the same audio files.

Have been using Sennheiser RS 110 II Wireless headphones since more than 5 years now. Haven't replaced them yet and are still working fine.

Use : Gaming on consoles + Movies/TV Series on PC and TV.

Best thing i like about these is the comfort. I can wear them whole day long!

Even for music on my iphone i use Sennheiser CX 180 Street II Earphones since 4-5 years. Bought another pair after the 1st stopped working. Also, have good after sales experience with Sennheiser.

So you must have guessed by now, that i have been a Sennheiser fan so far.

I'm looking to buy new headphones for gaming (on consoles) and Movies on PC. Thought of trying out some new options, with or without wires. I have been using wireless so far because i can use them with almost anything, like TV or cellphone and sit far away or even walk around without removing them.

Can anyone please suggest some good headphones with mic? If better sound/audio options are available in my budget without a mic, please suggest even that, as i don't use mic much and can buy something cheaper for it.

Preference here is Comfort and Sound Quality with good bass.

Budget : Rs.5000

Edit : If there is a considerable difference in sound quality, i can extend my budget a little.

Thanks!

Cheers.

Yes, the DAC-AMP combo on the Vibe X3 is really good, better than the standard RealTek stuff available on most cheaper motherboards.

If I recall correctly the HyperX Core does not have replacement ear-cups. The HyperX Cloud / Cloud II come with different pads and you can use whichever is more comfortable.

Thanks!

Check out the Kingston HyperX Cloud line of headphones.

Alternately you can look at something like the BRAINWAVZ S0 / S5 and so on. If you source directly from their Hong Kong hub (mp4nation), the service is excellent.

Never used wireless headphones / earphones simply because the performance and value is poor vis-á-vis their wired counterparts.

Thanks. Can you suggest an external Amp for it?

Something portable or fixed?

The 1 with better sound quality. Do i require a DAC+AMP for HyperX Core or just Amp?

Is Amp required only for PC or helps with console gaming as well?

Cheers.

Amp isn't required in 99% of the cases wrt gaming. You could argue it improves SQ with gaming headsets, but everything can be improved. I suggest invest the money you will invest in an amp and get a better headphone.

What PC motherboard do you have?

I do not have an AMP on my PC.

^ That is an old board and it just has a generic 5.1 RealTek chip on it AFAIK. Should be enough, no comments on consoles.

Thanks for helping out. I bought the HyperX Could Core. It was even delivered within 24 hours. Still to test it.

If my ears can make out the difference between Sennheiser and this, will post some feedback so as to help others in making a choice.

Awaiting your review for HyperX Cloud Core, I'm too thinking of buying those but just for console gaming.
