B) B) i am just kidding ...ax pro are awesome...every review i read says they compare very well to astro's and because of price difference of abt $100 between them and astro many say ax pro is overall a better deal...if you are okay with the wires. playstation
Hola guys. I'm thinking of getting a good gaming headset for ps3. It must support in-game sound plus voice chat. Don't want to spend too much so I'm keeping budget restricted to 3k only. Not more. I hv shortlisted Sony official cp-pro headset. It's for Rs.2399 on flipkart. I had that wireless ps3 headset in mind but recently learnt that it's not releasing in india n importing crosses my budget. Plz suggest. need good suggestions. Trolls shooo paji...for your need of mp gaming...i think sony's new wireless headset was just perfect...wireless features...superb mic for clear in game chatting......but yea for your budget it wont fit in....may be if could stretch your budget otherwise....see how is this cp-pro. Till then waiting for cp-pro reviews

rahul
Think I've voiced my opinion in this thread earlier, but again, personally, I don't see the need to buy any headset that costs more than 6k. I'd owned Turtle Beach x11 for about 2 months and it was more than decent enough. Cost about 2.7k in Singapore. @Parvinder Singh - Take a look at the new Turtle Beach x12's. Unless of course, you aren't able to find Turtle Beach's in India, CP-Pro looks good too. But if your ears are bigger than average, you might have hard time using it for long hours. That said, I'm looking for a fresh pair of headsets for PC gaming. Looking at Corsair 1100. Any advice?
Pushy
so acc. to u, ax pro is waste of monies?
rahul
Just a personal opinion pushy If you've got the money, nobody's stopping you from buying a potty made of gold. I just feel unless you're in the pro circuit or making money through gaming, it doesn't make fiscal sense for a casual gamer. Like I said, just a personal opinion. To each his own. Parvinder Singh
@rahul: i agree with u. which is why i hv set 3k as limit for headsets. I am awaiting for more reviews frm users of ivg abt CP-Pro. I want to go for Turtle Beach as well, but they arent' available in India.
Noctis
It depends on your preferences, if you don't care about audiophile quality then 6k is more than enough. But there is certainly a difference with higher sets.
