Haven't seen anything close to it on Netflix yet. Didn't know The terminal list was that good?!? Why is rotten tomatoes score so low? Although audience score is really high. dante77
The Terminal List - What an awesome series! The best this year IMO. Chris Pratt really nailed the role. Loved his acting throughout. A must watch!
Nikushimi
Sandman on Netflix is so freaking good! Everything from the casting to the visuals and direction is top notch. Binged half the season in one go, can't wait to finish the rest. It's been a while since I've felt so strongly about a TV show.

Gotta get to it asap If you have a dolby vision capable TV, make sure to watch it in the dark. One of the most visually striking shows I've seen. It's use of dark scenes and neon lights is just eye porn. The sound design is amazing too. Technically this show is a masterpiece. A really good showpiece for folks with home theater setups. harsh1387
I was surprised by Sandman. Never read the comics but I had an idea about the concept. Just 4 episodes in and it's absolutely delightful. CGI is done so well and casting is spot on. Especially the Lucifer casting was a pleasant surprise. Will finish rest of the episodes tomorrow. Finally I got back to watching The Office. Saw couple of episodes a while back and then couldn't get back to it. Finished 2 seasons. Loved them. Steve Carell as Michael Scott is a riot. I honestly found the trailer underwhelming so I’m happy to see it getting good reviews. I hope the show goes the distance. I've heard about the comics but never read them. I went into the show completely blind and it's been a blast. I much prefer the type content from Vertigo over the mainline DC stuff.
DinJo
5 episodes in for Sandman really stays loyal to comics, looks so great visually sound is excellent. Good they delayed it multiple times for years and it was developed only when Neil Gaiman was agreed to it

That and the Hell episodes were my favourites so far. I really wanna watch the rest right now but I'm waiting for night time for that pitch black oled viewing. The wait is really testing my patience lol. Edited August 6, 2022 by Nikushimi
Nikushimi
Finished watching season 1 of Sandman. Didn't like the second half as much as the first 6 episodes but its still one of best shows Netflix has put out since Arcane.

R3D_D3ViL
BCS last episode was a nice hit of nostalgia. Though I do not understand if any of it was necessary or how they are going to end this. 1 more episode right?
gecko89
The Sandman. 9/10 So well done, production quality and performances are top notch all round. Wish there was more of Gwendy's Lucifer. Of the 10 episodes, maybe one was mid, rest were all excellent.
achilles
Severance is a gorgeous, supremely well-shot and well acted cure for insomnia. It is glacially slow. Though maybe even the glaciers are melting faster now. I should've seen it coming. No one can have such incredible production values with one season in mind. Eh. Avoid. Read the synopsis. It has potential. And maybe watch the first episode to gauge the world and the weirdness of it all. As a season one television show it fails miserably. 3/10.

I am sure there is going to be a follow up and I am eagerly waiting for it. It reminded me of Stanley Kubrick movies - extremely slow but brilliant visuals and intriguing. Yeah, I could see it being engrossing if you're having a weekly dose. But I do think they needed another episode to end this season. 4 minutes ago, SuperT said: I loved it. The thing about Kubrick movies is, that they are movies. And sometimes even they felt too long. A nine episode show which really went nowhere for 7 episodes just didn't do it for me. Still, I would've found this much better if the end justified the means. That end was really not satisfying. I guess this is me having blue balls
Big Boss
Thanks for discussing Reacher here guys. Saw first episode and liked it. Finally a protagonist who actually looks like he can kick some a*s and kicks it too. Perfect casting.

This guy is the most threatening character in the entire. Something like this happens very rarely for the protagonist.
