We all know that it was MIB who took up Cristian Shepard's form in the island and it's the same Cristian who appears in Jack's hospital in Season 4 when Jack goes to switch off the fire alarm. Thee main goal of MIB was to escape the island. The question is how did he appear before Jack if he was still in the island? No point thinking about these questions. So even though a lot of questions remain unanswered, I am personally alright with the way the show ended. The thing with Tv series is that they have to make stuff up as they go just to stretch the overall duration because after all advertising dollars are the bottom line. In case of Lost, they ended up painting themselves in a corner. Speaking of stretching things, the latest episode of Breaking Bad was god-awful. The emo moments were amazing, when each sideways character is awakened. I would like to think that the Island is limbo, and everything Jack did in the last 6 seasons is just to provide him meaning to his life so he can move on - whatever the writers say. As Jacob says he was flawed, they all were. And the island provided the final opportunity to make meaning out of his life. Take out 50% of the show from the middle seasons and this would be perfect. That big a*s post raises so many questions. I refuse to waste any more brain cells on this and just remember how awesome the show was. Someone answer my questions pls: whats that island actually? Is it a place where ppl who are flawed get corrected , before they reach heaven ? And what was that light source which jack lights up and desmond destroys ? Also, the parallel story which is shown , is that their afterlife ?
