Gautam Posted March 13, 2008 Report Share Posted March 13, 2008 Has anyone here watched the animated "Batman Beyond" (aka Batman of the future) series?? It used to air on cartoon n/w a long while back. I happen to have all the 3 seasons that were released and the full length animated "Return of the Joker" set in the same universe. And I must say that the series is frickin' AWESOME!! The dialogues, the animation, the story. Everything is top notch! Even the music. The story is set some 50 years into the future and Batman has officially retired. There's a new kid on the block. This total change in narrative might irk fans of the original, but give it a try and I'm sure you'll all love it. You guys should especially watch "Return of the Joker" It'll really set u up for "The Dark Night" with respect to The Joker who Batman considered to be the biggest, most menacing enemy he'd ever faced.
