spindoctor
they stuffed half a season's worth of storytelling in the last episode of entourage, which was unfortunate considering that they basically meandered doing nothing with the story in the earlier episodes this season. still kind of sad to see it go. it had it's ups and downs but it's been a very entertaining and unique series for the last 8 years. shekdown
What I thought about Entourage season 8 : They were given only 8 episodes, they wanted more, I think. And I just finished watching the Grand Finale. Its a decent ending but like others have said it was very very very rushed. Its like 4 major pivotal stories which were completely unexpected all done in 8 episodes. Crazy. And the whole drug test and suicide thing was such a waste of time. I liked the Ari storyline which ended up brilliant and I felt was the perfect ending for him. I liked the E and Sloan storyline but I felt an opportunity for a huge redemption by E, himself, was wasted. They could have made it far better. Turtle stoyline seemed all over the place and Drama did nothing. Needless to say Vince's story needed a few more episodes itself. I love this series. Ive never enjoyed anything else as much as this. It felt like family and I am very sad to see it finish. The earlier seasons were definitely far far superior to the last 3 but Ill be lying if I said I didnt enjoy them. Maybe its because I love the characters or the show so much, maybe Ive become a fanatic. But what I do know is that no other show has managed to do that to me and for simply that, Entourage, you deserved it. Salute to the writers, actors and everyone involved with the show. I will definitely miss the team.

piper
Entourage has been a fine TV series, unlike any I've seen. The kind of lifestyle those guys lead, the casual celebrity appearances all have been good. Ari of course if the character that one must watch the entire show for. They handled his character really well, showing that you can't boss everyone around and not end up hurting those close to you. Turtle and Drama had their lives work out for them eventually and that's cool. Eric being the caring/committed guy that he's been obviously would face a hard time in life (any such guy would). And Vince has from day 1 has been shown to be very large-hearted and giving, so his personal like being OK is nice. Professionally he's an A-list actor, so no worries for him. I hope everyone waited until the credits rolled. That's the real finale to Ari's story Edited September 13, 2011 by piper
piper
It's over They shouldn't have put the post-credits Ari scene in the finale. It was fine the way they ended it. Even I'm sad its over, any other series which depicts such a cool lifestyle? But I liked the ending, that fellow (from Lost) always has a commanding presence on-screen. aakarshd
It's over They shouldn't have put the post-credits Ari scene in the finale. It was fine the way they ended it. Yeah but I kinda liked it. I think they did it in order to still leave people with some anticipation if they do come along with the movie. On another note, Curb season finale was awesome. Has anyone been watching Alphas? started Misfits lately that was pretty good too
aakarshd
Ya, but also think they did it because they didn't want to end the show by showing Ari as this domesticated retired agent. That scene showed that maybe he wasn't out of the game just yet. Exactly! And the way Charles Whitmore presented it was maddd intense

achilles
Well Ari always wanted the power of God. This is the show I've felt most attached to and its sad that it has ended but I think the time was right. Love the series. It ended on a high but they could've easily flushed out 15 episodes from what all they wanted to show this season. Or maybe if they knew it was going to be 8 episodes, they could have removed so much clutter. Wasted arcs: Dice. I mean, can you say unfinished? Bananas? The suicide? I guess they were trying to show how Vince had changed but didn't come across as that. The baked clams? E f**ked Melinda. I mean really? And Sloan got over it because of what Vince said? And E's driving the AMG Melinda gave him? Lavin: They couldn't end it better? All they had him say was I'm not a part of the family? Lloyd: What will I do? Ari's horseshoe? Terrence is a bad a*s? Guy & girl can't be together coz the family is against it? f**king bollywood ruining everything. No matter how amazing that date was, I can't accept Sofia marrying Vince because of how Sofia was shown to be. They wasted Walsh again? He's the ring picker? ROFL moments form this episode: Drama: "Who's' the broad?" Ari's expression post credits scene. Turtle's expression when Drama swore on his career I also wanted to see what happened to Jon Rubenstein after Medellin I expected better, but it was emotional. I felt it more than I thought I would, kind of like when The Bride cries when she finally Kills Bill. I know I'll be watching & re-watching the show again for quite a while. My fav character remains Drama and after that Ari. I'm gonna miss all the Godfather references, the guys on how they are there for each other, behave when they are together and apart and most of all I'm gonna miss the music. Edit: ANd last, but not the least, VICTOREE!! Edited September 13, 2011 by achilles

Big Boss
Anyone saw today's KBC? It was very emotional. Here is the part: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ndDHKiQpUo I have never felt so sad and helpless in my life for some other person. My heart goes out to Yusuf and his family. Such a cheerful person but fate has been so cruel to him. I hope he wins a huge amount.
